How To Find Cold Crystal Ores In Once Human
Cold Crystal Ores in Once Human are obtained from mining Ice Nodes found all over Vena Fjord and Onyx Tundra regions, typically around the snow-capped areas. They look like solidified ice with a blue glow coming off of them.
While they can be found in most of the new areas, they appear more densely in areas with the lowest temperatures. However, getting to these freezing-cold locations will require finding some of the harder-to-find Ice Nodes in the safer areas so you can craft cold-resistant items like Ice Crystals and Coldium with the Cold Crystal Ores.
How To Mine Ice Nodes To Get Cold Crystal Ores
To harvest the Cold Crystal Ore from the Ice Nodes, throw a Molotov Cocktail near the node and then interact with it while the fire is burning beside it to mine the ore. It is not possible to harvest Cold Crystal Ores in Once Human without using Molotov Cocktails to thaw the Ice Nodes and make them mineable. However, the type of Molotov does not matter.
This can be risky as often you may burn yourself while mining the Ice Nodes, but you will have to tank the damage in this case. With practice, you will figure out the optimal location to throw the Molotov that allows you to harvest the Cold Crystal Ores from the Ice Nodes while also not setting yourself on fire.
Best Cold Crystal Ores Farming Location In Once Human
You can find tons of Ice Nodes to farm Cold Crystal Ores in the huge chasm below the Tundra Monolith which is found in the Onyx Tundra region. Simply use the teleportation tower and then take a ride on your glider to drop down below in the deep icy caves where you will find Ice Nodes scattered everywhere. This is a huge chasm with caves inside it, you will find more Ice Nodes the deeper you go but also beware of the extreme cold temperatures here.
What Can You Craft With Cold Crystal Ores In Once Human?
Cold Crystal Ores are used to craft Ice Crystals and Coldium which help you gain Cold Resist. Crafting Ice Crystals requires the Molecular Structure Research Memetic Specialization while Coldium will require you to get Polar Expedition I Memetic from the Infrastructure category.
