With each update, you get to explore Palworld like never before. You can find new structures to build, new Pals to capture, and new locations to explore. With the Feybreak update, as you level up your character, you can unlock several new levels on your tech tree as well.
One of the newer buildings you can add to your base is the Pal Labor Research Laboratory. You unlock this building early on, and it is quite handy if you wish to increase the production of items in your base. How To Get The Pal Labor Research Laboratory
The Pal Labor Research Laboratory automatically unlocks at level 20. You can check your Technology tree to find it. It will require 2 Technology Points to unlock it. As for crafting it, you will require the following materials.
- Ingot *10
- Paldium Fragment *10
Ingots and Paldium Fragments are some of the early game materials that you can farm. If you haven’t unlocked these items yet, you need a Furnace and a Crusher to craft ingots and Paldium Fragments. Start mining Ore from Ore Nodes, then take them to the furnace to get ingots. For Paldium Fragments, place Stone in the Crusher to get it, or you can mine Paldium rocks to get this material too.
How To Use Pal Labor Research Laboratory In Palworld
The best use of this structure is to micro manage the production of your Pals across all your bases. If you own multiple bases, then using the Research Lab will help you gain passives to efficiently increase your Pal’s work rate and other attributes related to it. When you interact with the Lab, you will notice several Pal Jobs and a research tree in the middle. For each job you pick, you can unlock several research nodes to increase the work expertise. You have to start from the top and complete the first levels, then work your way down to the tougher research nodes.
Each research node will require various materials to unlock it. Ancient Civilization Parts and Ancient Pal Manuscripts are two of the more common items required, and as you keep going down the research tree, you will require more items in larger quantities. Keep in mind that once you begin your research, you cannot stop or pause it midway. Even if you have multiple Research Labs across your base, you will get the same research being performed on all of them. The only way to complete a research is to assign Pals to the lab.
Pals will automatically flock to the research lab once a research has been started, or you can manually assign Pals with higher work suitabilities to speed up the research time. If you have multiple labs, you can assign several Pals to each one and speed things up. Once the research is done, you will get the related boosts for that particular Work Suitability.
