The latest patch In V Rising, the action RPG from Stunlock Studios is out and has introduced new content and a new region. One of the most interesting aspects of this updates are Rift Incursions, and keeping yourself updated on where these Rift Incursions happen is pretty beneficial. In this article, we go through exactly that.
What Are Rift Incursions In V Rising
Rift Incursions in V Rising are PVE events where the player is required to close ‘rifts’ – which appear as floating crystals and are heavily guarded by high level enemies. If you manage to survive these waves of enemies, you get access to some good high level loot as rewards – Stygian Shards, and possibly Ancestral Weapon Shards as well. These are used to craft powerful Rare Weapons at the Ancestral Forge.
What Is Eye Of Mortium In V Rising
Eye of Mortium in V Rising is a decorative item that helps players ‘spy’ on Ruins of Mortium and come with the extremely useful ability of identifying location and tier of Rift Incursions on your map.
How To Get & Use Eye Of Mortium In V Rising
The recipe for Eye Of Mortium drops from defeating General Elena the Hollow; a level 53 V Blood Carrier boss found in Southern Fortress Ruins in of Ruins of Mortium.
You will need to then gather the following resources to build the Eye of Mortium:
- 4 * Iron Ingot
- 4 * Scourgestone
- 20 * Scroll
Once you have unlocked the recipe and collected the above items, you can go to the Dominance tab in Production to craft the Eye of Mortium. You can then approach the Eye of Mortium and interact with it to open up the map and show all the Rift Incursions, as well as alerts at the bottom right of your map.
The Rift Incursions can be either level I (around level 57 enemies) or level II (around level 80 enemies and gear). Also be careful on PVP servers – higher level players can ambush you while you are fighting against waves of high level enemies!
And that completes everything on Eye of Mortium in V Rising. Do check out our other guides on the game like how to build a second floor in V Rising or how to send servants on missions in V Rising.
