Slap Battles is all about cutthroat slaps, knocking back opponents and delivering the strongest slaps possible to make them fly out of the platform. There are a plethora of Gloves to unlock, which offer unique and creative perks to make your slapping experience more satisfying. The latest Glove to be added to the game is the Lag Glove, which blends bad internet with slapping, and here’s how you can get this Glove easily.
How to Obtain the Lag Glove

To get the Lag Glove in Slap Battles, you need to unlock the 2000 Ping Badge, which is done by staying midair for 10 seconds straight. Once you’ve done that, the Lag Glove will be added to your inventory. This Glove’s ability, “Bad Internet” allows you to put a timer and a loading symbol on the player getting slapped, causing delayed knockback slaps after 2.5 seconds of them being slapped. During the timer, you can slap multiple times to increase the strength of the knockback, making it a useful one to have in your collection.
Now, there are a couple of ways to stay midair for 10 seconds straight, without falling down:
- Unlock Balloony
- Unlock the Leash
- Unlocking the Spin’s Mastery
Let’s look at each of these one by one.
Unlock Balloony

Unlocking Balloony in Slap Battles is your best shot at staying midair for 10 seconds uninterrupted, and you can buy this slap-costing Glove for 10,500 Slaps. Its ability “Inflate” will allow you to spawn a balloon on your character’s back and carry them midair, which will last around 20 to 25 seconds, before popping which is enough to get the 2000 Ping Badge.
The more balloons you can equip on your back, the higher you’ll float and the easier it will be for you to unlock the 2000 Ping Badge, which will further unlock the Lag Glove.
Unlock the Leash

To unlock this Glove, you need to unlock the Demonic Ritual Badge, which is obtained by having every person in a full server of 16 people equip the CULT Glove. To unlock the CULT Glove, simply die to your own potato.
If someone has already obtained the Leash Glove, get slapped by it and it will trigger the Glove’s passive ability, known as “Lasso Drag” which will tie you to a long rope off the platform. This will count as staying midair for 10 seconds, since you’re technically not touching the ground, and up in the air.
Unlock the Spin’s Mastery

To unlock the Spin Glove in Slap Battles, you need to head to the in-game lobby at the red and blue portals, then look up to find the Glove hidden on the ceiling. All you need to do is simply click on it to add the Glove to your collection. Unlocking this Glove is the easy part, but obtaining its Spin Mastery isn’t, which will help you stay midair for longer durations.
To obtain the Spin’s Mastery, which is “Fast Spin”, you need to spin for 36,000 seconds (10 hours), and it will take a lot of time. However, once you unlock this Glove’s Mastery, you can rapidly spin and levitate above the ground, causing you stay midair for longer durations.
You can choose any of these three ways to unlock the Lag Glove in Slap Battles. For more comprehensive guides on other popular Roblox titles, check out the ones on All 13 Rune Locations in Prospecting and How to Catch Ashclaw in Fisch.
