You can get Skills in Sonic Rumble by earning Skill Stars from missions and using them to buy Skills in the Skill Star Shop. While this is the most common way to get skills, do note that the requirements for each skill are different from each other. For example, you need to collect fifteen Season Stamp Cards to gain Charge Blast skill and need to go through Grade Rewards to get Kick skill.

To check what requirements you need to fulfill to gain skills, head over to your Character Screen from the Main Menu. Click on the first button on the left-hand panel that has a hand emoji on it. This will be your Skill Menu for your character.

You’ll be able to see all the skills available for your character, both locked and unlocked. Click on the unlocked skills to add them to the Skill Slot to use them in-game. Or click on the locked skills to check what tasks you need to complete to gain them.

There are two types of skills in Sonic Rumble: General Skills and Character-Specific Skills. The first set can be used by anyone, but the second set is limited to each character. You can check the Character-Specific Skills after you unlock that character in-game. Some great Character-Specific Skills include Sonic Special for Sonic the Hedgehog, Tail Twister for Miles Tails Prower, and Volcanic Dunk for Knuckles the Echidna.

As for the General Skills available to each character, they are listed below:

    • Punch
    • Baseball Slide
    • Tackle
    • Ground Punch
    • Kick
    • Stomp Attack
    • Dive Kick
    • Sonic Boom
    • Air Dash
    • Ring Swipe (Only for Ring Battle)
    • Guard
    • Dodge Roll
    • Bomb Toss
    • Charge Blast
    • Combo Strike
    • Cyclone Dash
    • Unstoppable Dash
    • Racecar
    • Cartwheel

This was everything you needed to know about how to get skills and what type of skills there are in Sonic Rumble. If you want to check out more guides on popular games, do check out How to Change Username in Sonic Rumble.
