Not only do you have to expand your city in Frostpunk 2, but you also have to journey into the unknown to scout for resources in the snowy landscape. In order to do so, you would need to send Frostland Teams on exploration. This guide will tell you how you can get more Frostland teams in Frostpunk 2 who will brave the treacherous cold in search of precious food, fuel, and materials.

Guide To Recruit Frostland Teams In Frostpunk 2

The only way to recruit Frostland Teams is by building Logistics Districts. Head over to Old Waystations and start building a Logistics District. Each district will give you 10 Frostland Teams, once it is expanded, the number of teams rises to 15.

An expanded Logistics District has two building slots which basically means that you can place two Logistics Bays on each of them. Since the two Bays have the potential to give you an additional 15 Frostland Teams each, your total number can rise to 45.

Head over to the Frostlands section of the Idea Tree to add the buildings to your Logistics District. You can also check the number of Frostland Teams available for recruitment by tapping on the compass icon on the upper-right corner of the screen.

Types Of Logistics Bays In Frostpunk 2

There are two types of Logistics Bay that you can build in your Logistics District. They are:

    Vanguard Bay

This type of Logistics Bay in Frostpunk 2 focuses on survival gear and training. The total number of personnel required for the workforce is 600 and you can get a maximum of 15 Frostland Teams from each Vanguard Bay. You will have to wait for 15 weeks to get access to the teams. In terms of resources, you would need to spend 50 Heatstamps to Research and 120 Heatstamps to build a Vanguard Bay.

    Automated Bay

This bay leads to a reduction in workforce requirements and storage needs. Since machines are used for manufacturing equipment, the number of personnel needed in the workforce is 500. The total number of Frostland Teams generated is 10. Similar to Vanguard Bays, you need 50 Heatstamps to Research and 120 Heatstamps to build an Automated Bay.

Having one of each Bay in each of your Logistics Districts will allow you to have an additional 25 Frostland Teams. In such a case, your total Frostland Team count becomes 40.
It is important to note that Logistics Districts cannot be built anywhere, hence there is a limit to the number of Frostland Teams that you can recruit and deploy to explore. Make sure you build a Logistic District wherever possible instead of building anything else.

It also makes sense to do research under Frostland section for Scout Training – Pathfinder Scouts. This reduces the territory threat level, and hence the probability of losing Frostland teams when going on an expedition. The Scout Training unlocks after building a Scouts’ Headquarters in the Logistics District.
