How to Get Mail in Once Human

Did you see the notification in Once Human that says you have unread mail? Those messages are important, as they often carry rewards, bonuses and important notices from the developers.

By opening the mail, you can get your hands on those free rewards. However, it’s not as easy as simply clicking the envelope icon under chat logs.

    Checking Mail in Once Human

You can check mail in Once Human by approaching a mailbox and interacting with it. Mailboxes are available only in safe zones, which are small areas with NPCs that offer tasks.

When you see the blue water droplet icon over a part of a gear, you are in a safe zone. These areas contain NPC settlements, and as a player, you’re usually not spending a lot of time in safe zones.

After getting to a safe zone, you will be greeted with a mail icon on top of the mailbox if you have unread mail. Just approach the mailbox and interact with it to see all of your mail. You can click “Claim All” to get those sweet rewards.

Items Found in Mail in Once Human

These are the items you will likely get in the mail:

    • Launch bonuses
    • Event rewards
    • Server compensation rewards
    • Messages from the developers

Remember that mailboxes cannot hold more than 99 messages. That’s why you should delete the messages you have already read to get more rewards in the future.

And that is everything you need to do to get mail in Once Human. Check out our other guides on the game like How to Beat Chuckles or How to Get Sulfur in Once Human.
