LC-3 Skifter is one of the important items in the game allowing you to unlock an ability cheat in Sabacc. The Magnetic Dice ability in Star Wars Outlaws will help you tip the game of Sabacc in your favor. But to unlock the ability you will need this item amongst other materials. Without further ado, here’s a complete guide to acquiring the LC-3 Skifter for the Magnetic Dice upgrade.
LC-3 Skifter Location In Star Wars Outlaws
The LC-3 Skifter is located northwest of Great Chott Salt Flat, southeast of South Jundland Wastes, and directly west of the Hutt Cartel in Tatooine.
- Take the western route from Hutt Cartel to reach the objective marker. The popular landmark here will be the Hutt outpost. If you are on good terms with the Hutts, you will not have to deal with any conflict. If that is not the case, then you must wait for them to leave before making a move.
- Head to the cliff east of the camp, you must circle to see the boulder blocking the path. Pull out the blaster, and switch to the Power Module to blast it off. keep heading straight then climb the ledge on the right.
- Look to your right, you will see a grappling point, hook the wire, and go up. Once you are on the top, start moving towards your right. On your left, you will see Chalcopyrite x1, grab it, and behind the material, you will see a climbable wall.
- After reaching the ground above, you will find a boulder blocking your path again, take the blaster and shoot it out. Then keep moving straight, the path is very linear, and it will take you directly towards a climbable wall. Start moving towards your right and climb up the platform.
- Turn your camera to the left, you need to make a jump to grab the metal rod on the side of the mountain. Start moving up, you will soon reach a Hostile Area. The area has three Automated Turrets that land precise shots. You can’t destroy them with a blaster, you need to find another way to turn them off.
- Turret Weakness? Three Power Generators in the area. They are easier to notice, as each generator emits a green light making them stand out in the environment. One of the generators can be found in the open, and two of them are hiding behind breakable objects.
- First Generator: When the shooting begins, take cover behind the rocks on the right (In front of the right turret), and you will find the First Generator to your left. Shooting it will deactivate the Turret on the right.
- Second Generator: Go behind the Right-Turret, and you will see a Breakable Wall, destroy it to reveal the Second Power Generator inside. Shoot it to deactivate the Turret in the middle.
- Third Generator: Lastly, use the Ion module on the last remaining Turrent to freeze the machine for a couple of seconds. It will give us enough time to shoot the boulder on the left of the Second Turret to reveal the last Power Generator. Shooting it will turn off the First Turret.
Tip: You can always follow the wires coming out of Turrets to the Power Generators.
Once you have turned off all the Turrets, you are now safe to move forward without getting shot. Look for a door under the first turret. Use the Data Spike to lockpick the terminal to open the door.
Congratulations, now you own an LC-3 Skifter. Loot around, you will find many more valuable materials and some credits. If you have 15 Slivian Iron and 6 Direct-Energy Circuit, you can now unlock The Magnetic Dice Ability under The Hotfixer.
