If you are choosing to play Where Winds Meet alongside friends, emoting is one of the ways you can communicate quickly. One such popular emote is the Giveaway emote, which signals that you are giving the other player a gift. But to obtain this emote, you need to perform a simple side quest. Read below to learn how to do it.

Where To Find Giveaway Emote in Where Winds Meet

An NPC located next to a fountain in Blissful Retreat unlocks the Giveaway emote for you. Do note that you have to be in multiplayer mode. Head over to the location named Merit Pool near Blissful Retreat. It is located on the coast in the northwest. As shown in the image, Blissful Retreat is marked with a purple marker and Merit Pool’s location is circled in red.

There, you’ll find an NPC who will teach you how to perform this emote. The reason why you should be in multiplayer mode is that you need your friend to actually complete this side quest. Once you have learned from the NPC, ask your friend to do the Beg emote in front of you.

As he is doing that, you’ll have to perform the Giveaway emote to unlock it permanently. Your newly unlocked Giveaway emote will be under the Solo Emote menu.

To perform an emote in Where Winds Meet, follow the steps given below:

    • Press the F2 key (on PC).
    • Press Q or E to toggle between Common, Solo, Multiplayer, Puzzle, and Talent emotes.
    • Press the 1-9 number pad key to perform the corresponding emote.

Emotes are a great way to add some neat, fun elements in the game for multiplayer. Some of these emotes also help progress on quests, although those emotes will come your way as part of the main quest itself.
