With Palworld’s newest Feybreak update, you get to explore a whole new island and pick up new items to enhance your Pals and your base. The more you explore all the new and older regions, the more discoveries you can make. You can now pick up various Applied Work Suitability Technique books to make your Pals advance their Work Suitability attributes.
With each book you give them, you can increase their work ability by +1. The easiest way to collect these items is to find a particular NPC called the Arrogant Pal Critic, or you can scavenge for them in the overworld. All Applied Work Suitability Technique Locations In Palworld
There are 11 different types of Applied Work Suitability Technique books to find, and each of them offers a different work suitability upgrade to your Pals. The easiest way to get at least one of each type of book is to locate the new NPCs called the Arrogant Pal Critic. There are 9 of these NPCs all over the different regions, and all you need to do is find them and show off your Pals. Not all Arrogant Pal Critics will hand over this particular book, but they will give you tons of random rewards that will be worth your time.

You can complete the Arrogant Pal Critic quest just once, so you can get just one book at the end of the quest. Arrogant Pal Critics aren’t the only ones who hand out Applied Work Suitability Technique books, as there is another NPC who can hand it over for free.
For this, head over to Crystalized Tunnel (-912, -1319) and talk to the Friendly Pal Tamer. Doing so will give you a random Applied Work Suitability Technique book, and you can collect it just once.
