The most important thing to consider for picking a Low Driven Shot over a Normal one is the distance of the goalkeeper from the far post. The longer the distance, the higher the chance of success on your Low Driven Shot. Performing a normal shot in this scenario will not be as effective, as the shots take longer to load, and the goalkeeper might have the time to reach it.
Another tip to make the Low Driven Shot more effective is to turn on the Precision setting in the Menu. It will take some time to get used to it, but it will make the shots more accurate.
