Forsaken Giant Moveset And Counters in Once Human
While the above tips will help you devise a good strategy for battling Forsaken Giant, you need to understand the moveset of this creature to counter its signature moves. Here are the most used moves of Forsaken Giant with ways to counter them:
- Swipe Attack: The Giant uses a sweeping arm attack, where it flings its hand toward the player in a swift motion. To avoid this attack, you need to move to the opposite side of the arena to escape the trajectory altogether. Standing at the edge of the arena or by the flowers close to the boss is a safe point to escape the Swipe attack.
- Targeted Attack / Red Pillar: The Giant has the ability to mark a player with a red symbol. After a short while, it will slam the area where the marked player is standing in the arena. Each area can withstand three slams before being destroyed. To prevent the arena from being destroyed, you need to rotate positions after each slam.
- Shockwave Attack / Hand Slams: The Forsaken Giant releases a shockwave that causes substantial damage. To counter this, you need to jump or move out of the way to avoid it. Dodge rolling can come handy during this attack.
- Stomp Attack: The Giant stomps the ground, creating a large AoE damage zone. To avoid this, maintain distance and move to the sides to escape from the impact.
- Energy Orbs: This creature can emit energy Orbs that chase the player, to counter this attack you need to shoot at the orbs and obliterate them before they can harm you.
How To Beat Forsaken Giant In Once Human
The Forsaken Giant is a multi-phased boss with its difficulty increasing with each phase. The Giant has specific glowing weak points that need to be targeted. However, these points keep changing throughout the different phases. You need to be resourceful with your ammo and conserve it till the last phase. If you see the Giant shedding tears at any phase, make sure to collect them, this will stun the creature for a certain time, leaving you an opening for attack.
Phase 1

Initially, the Giant’s left biceps head will be glowing red along with other areas on its body. Take a safe position, preferably the corner of the arena before you initiate your first attack. The Giant will not attack you until you make the first move. You need to target these initial weak points. However, be mindful that there is a limit to the damage you can inflict on a single weak spot. Once you have exceeded this limit, the spot will stop glowing.
The Forsaken Giant’s attack pattern in this round includes a combination of sweeping attacks, stomping, projectile launches, and hand slams.
Phase 2

As the fight progresses, new weak spots will appear on the Giant (left or right palm). Naturally, you now need to focus on these spots with a weapon with a high fire rate. However, you need to dodge the Hand Slam first. The boss’ attacks will grow more frequent and aggressive in this phase. So, you have to stay alert and ready to dodge at all times. To kick the difficulty up a notch, Forsaken Giant will now summon smaller enemies called elites. You need to eliminate these creatures immediately, or else they will disrupt your focus from the boss.
Phase 3
This phase marks yet more intensified attacks and creature spawns including the appearance of a powerful enemy, Arbiter. You need to prioritize your focus on Arbiter because the Forsaken Giant will be inflicting yet more powerful attacks on you. So, you need to take care of the Arbiter first. Dodge attacks and position yourself strategically to avoid heavy damage from both these enemies. For this, you can use your game environment as cover.

Mobility and ammo management are more crucial than ever in this phase. Once you have eliminated the Arbiters, you have to aggressively target the Giant’s weak points which may rotate between the stomach, head, and palms.
