The Lost Harvest DLC for Dune Awakening Chapter 2 offers new contracts that lead to obscure objectives. At the very start of the DLC, you need to assist the Dune Officers for the quest The Fall of the Mithra. Within this, you get the contract Boosting the Signal, which requires you to activate the Aux power console. This guide will explain how to do that in Dune Awakening.
How to Start Boosting the Signal Contract in Dune Awakening
After locating the three Dune Officers at the Griffin’s Reach crash site, Lieutenant Drangh will issue the Boosting the Signal contract after completing a string of prior contracts. At the start of the Boosting the Signal contract, you need to repair the relay beacon, then return to Lt. Drangh about your findings. This objective is pretty linear, and you don’t have to go too far; just follow the quest marker and get to the top of the mountain to fix the relay.
Your next task is to locate the Mithra side entrance and power up the Auxiliary Console, which is also marked on the map. To find the fallen Mithra ship, head over to the northern section of the Western Vermillius Gap camp to locate the Mithra side entrance as part of the contract objective.
Auxiliary Power Console Location
The entrance isn’t actually to the side; rather, you need to climb up to the roof of the fallen harvester and go in through there. Go northwest towards the crash site and start scaling the mountain wall. Once you reach the top of the ship, look around for a door to unlock and head inside.
Now, to find the Auxiliary Power Console, go straight, then right, then continue straight. You will come across a wall that was blasted open. Go through it, and you will spot the console on your left. Interact with it to complete the objective.
Reactivate the Distress Signal
Your next task is to reactivate the distress signal, and to find it, you need access to the top floor of the ship. This requires an Identification Band to gain entry, so let’s find that first. Exit the Auxiliary Console room, go left, and enter the doorway on the far corner on the left. Jump across the gap and collect the Identification Band on the crate.
Backtrack to the room where you activated the Auxiliary Console and take the doorway on the right this time. Jump across the flaming gap, go right, then scale the wall on the right. Go through the hatch ahead and go right. You will spot a door that requires the Identification Band. Go through the doorway after that and interact with the console on the left to complete this objective, then return to Lt. Drangh to complete the contract.
