Benches in Hollow Knight: Silksong serve as a checkpoint and a point to rest, equip new abilities, and restore your full health after a long battle. However, unlike other Benches in the game, which require some finding and a set amount of Rosaries, the one in Sinner’s Road is an exception to the rule. Apart from the Bench being broken, you also need to spend more Rosaries and manually fix it. In this guide, we’ll help you fix the Bench quickly.
Fixing The Sinner’s Road Bench In Silksong
To fix the Sinner’s Road Bench in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you need to traverse left of the bench and destroy vines to unlock gears. From the Bench, you need to use the Cling Grip ability on the left wall, above Mapmaker Shakra, and climb up to the top, then break the wall.
After climbing up, keep heading left to reach the spiked wheels, on which you need to Pogo Jump your way across. Use every traversal ability at your disposal, and time them well to dodge the wheels and avoid falling to your spiky death. Keep heading left as you jump across.
You’ll come across more spiked wheels the further you progress left. Once you reach the end of the platform, you’ll encounter a narrow opening that leads to the bottom. There will be a ton of spiked wheels as you go further down the opening, so be careful.
Once you’ve reached the bottom, you need to head right on the Sinner’s Road. Here, you’ll face even more spiked wheels as you move right, and you must efficiently use your Pogo Jump ability on them as well as time your glides effectively to easily traverse the harrowing path.
When you’ve reached the end of the section towards the right, you’ll find a clutter of vines that requires breaking. Hit the vines multiple times to clear and unlock the gears and fix the Sinner’s Road Bench once and for all.
Now, all you have to do is head left and climb up the opening on the ceiling, just beside the gears, and keep heading left. The Cling Grip ability will be useful during this section.
You’ll come across another opening at the top as you head left. Climb up the opening, break the boards that are blocking your way to the top, jump and head right to find yourself at the first spiky wheels section. Keep heading right, and you’ll drop down to the room with the Sinner’s Road Bench and Mapmaker Shakra.
