How To Unlock Hot Springs In Hades 2
The Hot Springs can be unlocked by activating the Rite Of Vapor-Cleansing at the Cauldron; and requires 2 Moly, 2 Nightshade and 2 Lotus. This will not be available from the beginning and will only appear once you have progressed to the third area in the game. Along with unlocking Hot Springs, this will also give you Bath Salts.
What To Do With Hot Springs In Hades 2
You can invite characters to have a bath with you provided their affinity is at the right level. If they accept, it will lead to a short cutscene. The hot springs are also a good way to pass time – with each bath equal to 12 turns. Hence, if you are waiting for some plants to grow, taking a bath at hot springs will help speed up time.
How To Use The Hot Springs In Hades 2
In order to use the hot springs in Hades 2, you must offer a Bath Salt to one of the Gods who has a high enough affinity. Their affinity can be increased by giving them Nectar – which can be found in areas during runs and can be purchased from The Wretched Broker as well. Different characters have different threshold levels for affinity, so keep that in mind. For e.g.; Odysseus and Dora require just 1 Nectar each, Hecate and Moros requires 2 Nectars each. Once you progress sufficiently into the game, you will also unlock the Empath’s Invocation, which will allow you to see affinity levels with each of the characters.
