Although initially introduced as a sub-quest, mining has quickly become one of the core activities in Dark and Darker. By mining copper, gold, or cobalt at different game levels, players can get access to ores that they can refine and use to craft better gears for themselves. But to craft the best gears, you’d need Rubysilver Ore. As it turns out, Rubysliver ore isn’t all that easy to find!

In this guide, we’ll pinpoint the exact location to farm up Rubysilver Ore in Dark and Darker so that you don’t have to search every nook and cranny of the game. Let’s get started.

Where To Get Rubysilver Ore In Dark And Darker

You can get Rubysilver Ore in the sub-level of Howling Crypts called Inferno 1 and Inferno 2. But be warned; it’s one of the toughest regions in the game, featuring demon mobs and difficult boss battles. Naturally, the rewards you get for completing these levels are also considerably better.

The Howling Crypts have two versions (Normal and High Roller), and both have their own sub-levels, where you can find Rubysliver Ore veins. You can get up to four Rubysilver Ore veins in each of them. Mining these ore veins using a pickaxe gives you Rubysilver Ore.

The Inferno 1 contains four ore veins for Rubysilver, which you can find in the Blood Platform and Demon Den rooms. The Blood Platform room is located in the northeast corner, while the Demon Den is located in the southwestern part of the map. We’ve marked the location in the image below to help you find it quickly.

In the Inferno 2 maps, you’ll get the 4 Rubysliver Ore veins in the Blood River and Spider Lair room. The Blood River room is in the northwest corner, and the other room, Spider Lair, is in the southeast section. Go to the marked location on the map, and you’ll find your Rubysilver ore deposits.

Rubysilver Ore can be traded with the Armourer and Alchemist to get Rubysilver Ingots and Rubysilver Powders. With 16 Rubysilver Ingots, you can craft the Rubysilver Armor set from the Armourer. It’s a six-piece armor, and here is the Rubysilver Ingot requirement for each piece:

    • Rubysilver Gauntlets: 2x Rubysilver Ingots
    • Rubysilver Plate Boots: 3x Rubysilver Ingots
    • Rubysilver Barbuta Helm: 3x Rubysilver Ingots
    • Rubysilver Plate Pants: 4x Rubysilver Ingots
    • Rubysilver Cuirass: 4x Rubysilver Ingots.

Alternatively, you can craft the Rubysilver leather set and Rubysilver Doublet set from the Leathersmith if you’ve got the required amount of Rubysilver Powders. Here is the amount of Rubysilver Powder that you need for each piece:

    • Rubysilver Rawhide Gloves: 5x Rubysilver Powder
    • Rubysilver Rawhide Gloves: 3x Rubysilver Powder
    • Rubysilver Adventurer Boots: 3x Rubysilver Powder
    • Rubysilver Cap: 4x Rubysilver Powder

Last but not least, you can use the Rubysilver Powder with the tailor to craft three other pieces of equipment:

    • Rubysilver Hood: 4x Rubysilver Powder
    • Rubysilver Doublet: 5x Rubysilver Powder
    • Rubysilver Vestments: 5x Rubysilver Powder

That’s the end of this article. Check out our other guides on the game, including Mining System Explained and How To Unlock Squire Items.
