In Persona 5, you have to utilize the in-game currencies to upgrade and level up your Phantom Thieves and Personas. For that, you need to farm Konpaku Gems, which is one of the currency types the game has to offer. Since gathering enough Konpaku Gems is quite a chore, this guide will cover how to get them quicker in Persona 5 The Phantom X.

Thankfully, there are several ways to farm Konpaku Gems in the game, so you won’t be short on farming them. Below are all the possible ways to farm Konpaku Gems.

    • Events like Trials from the Sea of Souls, Trials of the Deep, or Realm of Repression offer a huge payout of Konpaku Gems upon completing them successfully.
    • Having your Guild perform their tasks better in Nightmare’s Gateway will also reward players with Konpaku Gems as well as points.
    • Side missions and milestones like Lufel’s Business Plan I are also a reliable source of farming Konpaku Gems.
    • You can also exchange Friend Points or Assist Rewards for Konpaku Gems.
    • Working on your Mementos Train Ticket, scavenging bins during exploration, and breaking open objects within Palaces will also contribute to your growing stock of gems.
    • The Phantom Pass will also shell out a handful of Konpaku Gems randomly as you rank up.
    • Each time you log in, check your daily in-store gifts to find out if you have won any Konpaku Gems.
    • The Fare Machine located within the Metaverse has a slight chance of dropping Konpaku Gems if you have enough tickets.
    • You can also exchange Clear Cognigems at the Exchange Shop’s Cognitive Shop to earn Konpaku Gems

    How to Use Konpaku Gems

As mentioned earlier, you can rank up your personas and Phantom Thieves using Konpaku Gems. Besides working on your Thieves and Personas, you can also use these gems to level up weapons, Awareness, and obtain new Persona Skills. While starting off in early game, it is best to focus more on upgrading your personas and thieves, since they are your ticket to progressing through the game.

Later on, you can work on increasing Awareness for early game, but won’t be required once you are more proficient. You can then utilize any remaining gems on upgrading weapons to make them stronger. Lastly, if you have any leftover Konpaku Gems left, use them on learning new skills and gaining buffs.
