Every Confirmed Battlefield 6 Easter Egg In-Game

Like many video games, Battlefield 6 features a lot of easter eggs for new and returning players to dig through. Some are nice nods to the previous games. Others are a nod to movies, anime, and even other games. So, here are some of the confirmed easter eggs discovered in Battlefield 6. We will keep updating this as we discover more Easter Eggs in the game.

    Easter Eggs in Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 features various Easter Eggs that range from past game references to even movie references from prominent war movies. Here are the ones we’ve located.

    1. The Battlefield 1942 Reference

Right after you finish the first mission of Battlefield 6, you get a cutscene where the soldiers confront the character Mills. In this cutscene, you can see her opening a locker by punching the code 2002. This refers to the release year of the first Battlefield game, Battlefield 1942, which launched in September 2002.

    2. Rendezook!

Since the dog tags are back in Battlefield 6, the devs went the extra mile to award Battlefield 6 players who successfully perform a Rendezook with a special dog tag. First performed in 2011 by a player named Stun_gravy in Battlefield 3, Rendezook involves players exiting a fighter jet mid-air at high altitude to take out the enemy fighter jet using an AA gun and re-enter their jet.

Since 2011, this act has attached itself to the Battlefield games, with the Battlefield 2042 trailer even referencing Rendezook.

    3. Stolz der Nation

If you manage to take out 250 enemies as a recon, you’ll get an achievement named Stolz der Nation. This is a reference to an in-universe movie in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds, where in a film named Stolz der Nation, a Nazi sniper kills 250 enemies.

    4. The Dead Space References

On the Empire State map of Battlefield 6, if you visit an outdoor bar on the map, you can find references to the Red Marker and Planet Cracker ships from Dead Space in the form of drink names. EA Motive, the developers of the Dead Space Remake, are one of the teams working together with DICE as part of Battlefield Studios, resulting in this easter egg.

    5. Dinosaur

The Dinosaur is back, and you’ll pretty much miss it if you don’t look around in the first single-player mission. Right on top of the table, you’ll find a toy dinosaur referencing the many dinosaur references made since Battlefield 3.

When you pick the dinosaur up, Murphy also makes a comment saying that if anyone forgets their dinosaur. You’ll also find multiple posters throughout the game’s multiplayer maps of fake dinosaur movies, further carrying on the legacy of the dinosaurs in the Battlefield games.

    6. The Bad Company Grenade

Right at the first single-player mission, if you look at the open locker inside the container while exiting the room, you’ll find a sketch of a grenade with a smiley badge stuck on it, drawn on a sticky note. This is a reference to the logo of Battlefield: Bad Company, one of the most beloved games in the series.

    7. The Battlefield Theme

All around the multiplayer maps and single-player game, you can find boomboxes and radios that play various music. If you interact with them, they will sometimes play the classic theme of Battlefield from the first couple of games. Not only that, in the mission Gibraltar, where you are assigned to take out AAA guns, you go through a WW2 museum, where the theme of Battlefield 5 plays.

    8. Developer Pets

In the interior of the Empire State Building map, and any city-based map in Battlefield 6, you can find products and pictures featuring dogs and cats. These are the actual real-life pets of the dogs, used as product images and in-universe pet photos.

    9. The Pokémon Reference

If you revive 1996 players in Battlefield 6 as a support, you’ll get an achievement named “A Joyful Nurse,” which is a reference to Nurse Joy from the Pokémon series, which debuted in 1996.

    10. The Battlefield Universe Gets Connected

In the Manhattan and Empire State map, you’ll find a store named Double Dip Donuts, which refers to the Double Dip Donuts mentioned in the game Battlefield: Hardline. While you don’t get the funny voice line Hardline had with the Donuts, it is a nice reference to the game.

This is the second time this donut brand has appeared in-game, with the new Skate game also featuring the Double Dip Donuts.

    11. The Captain Price Reference

The Battlefield 6 boss, Vince Zampella, originally left EA to form Infinity Ward and was responsible for creating Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 and 2, which are well-beloved games to this date. He’d eventually get fired from Infinity Ward and form Respawn Entertainment, coming back to EA and finally leading the Battlefield 6 development. So, it isn’t a shock when there are multiple references to the well-known Call of Duty character from Modern Warfare, Captain Price.

In the Cairo mission, right near the end of the game, Carter says, “Get in, we are leaving!” This is possibly a reference to the Call of Duty 4 mission Crew Expandable, where Captain Price says this. Though it can also be just a coincidence.

    12. The Battlefield Friends

    EA

In the New York mission, which is the fifth one in Battlefield 6, you can find a knife with a bipod on it, placed beside a bag on top of one of the beds in the tent. This is a reference to an episode of the Battlefield web series called The Battlefield Friends, where a character mentions this bipod knife.

    13. The Ninja Turtles Reference

Inside the sewers, during the Cairo mission, you can find a closed-out sewer entrance, beside a teddy bear placed on top of some wooden structures. If you look inside, you can see four pizza boxes spread across. This is a reference to the famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who used to live in the sewers. Coincidentally, Ninja Turtles were also skins players could buy in Call of Duty.

These are the prominent ones you can find in Battlefield 6. Of course, there are lots of other easter eggs in-game, and players are still discovering them every day.
