Elden Ring Nightreign offers tons of unique elements and features to make the game more difficult. There are a couple of events in the game that can make it more challenging to complete, and one of them is the Night’s Tide event. This event happens in every round, and you need to complete that particular run’s objectives at the earliest before you are consumed by the Night’s Tide. This guide will explain what to do during the Night’s Tide event in Nightreign.
How to Deal With the Night’s Tide Event in Nightreign

The Night’s Tide is a recurring event that happens at every level, so you need to be prepared to identify it happening so you don’t get caught up in it. Usually, at the start of each level, you will notice a blue ring of fire encircling the entire map. Gradually, this circle starts getting smaller as time goes on, and getting caught outside the circle’s flames will deal gradual damage.
The only way to escape the Night’s Tide is to run inside the blue circle into the safe zone. You have to keep trying to stay alive within the safe zone till the circle closes in on a particular location. This is where a boss will spawn, so you need to be prepared to locate the boss once the circle starts getting smaller.

There are two ways to deal with the Night’s Tide. You can either consume your healing flask to restore health repeatedly, or you can run outside the circle and get back in once the boss appears. Whichever method you take, you have to wait for 14 minutes for the circle to single out the boss’s location. Post Day 2, the blue circle will focus more on the boss’s area, so you don’t have to worry about the Night’s Tide after that.
Surviving Night’s Tide Event
There are a few things you can do to avoid having massive healing drains while dealing with the Night’s Tide. If you are looking to gather loot, then aim for the area at the edge of the blue circle so you don’t have to spend a lot of time outside the circle. Utilize the Spectral Hawk or Spiritstream to travel across the terrains quickly. Try to focus on upgrading your flask as you load into a map, as this will help you heal more and continue exploration even further.
While trying to get to Churches, you don’t have to worry about draining your health flask. Once you interact with the altar inside the Church, your flask’s healing capacity will be completely restored. Plus, you do get the extra flask consumption, so heading to Churches inside the Night’s Tide is well worth the risk.
