Final Battle Against The Yellow Turbans In Dynasty Warriors Origins

As you progress through Chapter 1, you will reach the Final Battle against the Yellow Turbans. This is the final battle of Chapter 1 and occurs right after the Battle of Guangzong. Make your way to the Expeditionary Force campsite to start the mission. At the start of the battle, Cao Cao will explain how the allied troops will move forward with the battle. You will be given a brief rundown on how the army will flow into the battlefield, and the best approach to reaching Zhang Jiao.
Your battle conditions are to defeat Zhang Jiao for a victorious battle. If Zhu Jun or Huangfu Song flees, the battle will be considered a defeat. Equip your best Battle Arts and Gems for the fight, and bring along your horse to make things easier. Some Arts you can use are Stone Strike Blast, Sp. Palm Strike, and Sp. Absconding Slash. As for weapons, Longswords or Iron Fists can work well for the fight, or you can bring a Wheel if you prefer to get more range in battle.
During the fight, be sure to keep an eye out on the objectives on the left side of the screen. Sometimes you will get indicators to protect a certain ally or complete a task, which you must follow before the timer runs out.
Start the Battle Against the Yellow Turbans

You can head over to any of the two camps on the south and southwest side, but it is recommended to start the southernmost camp. Your goal here is to make your way north to the largest enemy camp and face Zhang Jiao. But before that, you have to beat two other forces belonging to Zhang Liang and Zhang Bao. From the south, follow the party northwest and clear out the enemy camp. While you are in the final camp in the west, you will get notified that Zhang Bao is dispatching their army.
Be careful of the Volleys being tossed by the Yellow Turban while battling the camps. Once you clear the camp, the gate to the eastern mountain path will now be open. Quickly make your way east to the bigger camp and defeat the soldiers here. By now, the Mighty Yellow Turban General will be on the move, but don’t worry about that as Dong Zhou will intercept the general.
Defeat Zhang Liang and Zhang Bao’s Forces
Continue to head east and clear out the camp here before heading directly north. You don’t have to head over to the camp situated farthest east, as your allies would already be there to take care of it. As you reach the northernmost camp, you will come face to face with Zhang Liang’s Large Force. There are tons of Phantom Soldiers here, and the best way to defeat them is to locate Zhang Liang first. He is located on the far northeastern section of the map, so make your way over there and get onto the platform to defeat Zhang Liang.

You can then exit the arena and assist your allies when they call for you. Gather your forces and head northwest to the main camp. As soon as you pass through the large gates, you will meet Zhang Bao’s Large Force. During the fight, Zhang Bao and his generals will mysteriously disappear. You need to locate a censer and destroy it to bring them back. You can use the Eyes of the Sacred Bird to scan your surroundings to find the censer. It is located on the northwest section of the battlefield, there is a large tower and a ladder that you can climb. Once you reach the top, you will find an earthen pot that you can smash. After that, Zhang Bao will be visible, and you can continue the fight to defeat him.
Defeat Zhang Jiao
After defeating Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang, a new pathway will open up on the far northwest. Enter through the doorway to meet Zhang Jiao. If you feel unprepared, you can head back to any of your allied base camps to replenish your health or gather troops. The fight with Zhang Jiao will test your limits, but we have a guide covering how to defeat him in Dynasty Warriors Origins. The battle will be considered completed when Zhang Jiao’s large force is defeated and he has fled the battlefield.
While this isn’t the last fight during Dynasty Warriors Origins, you will encounter many more battles along the way. You can check out our guides on the Battle Of Hulao Gate and the Battle Of Guangyang to know more.
