One of the dispatch calls you will get in the latter half of the Dispatch call section in Episode 6 is about melting or breaking the ice. Both will lead to different scenarios and XP bonuses. Here we will also see past actions reflecting on this mission as well. Here is a guide on whether to Melt the Ice or Break the Ice in Dispatch.
Melt the Ice
Suffice it to say, you will need Flambae in hand to select this option. If you decided not to reveal your real identity at the end of Episode 5, you will have Flambae at your disposal. You can send him over to complete the task by melting the ice. Once he completes the mission, he will receive a good amount of XP in return.
Reward: Flambae will receive a 200% XP bonus after completing the mission.
Break the Ice

If you have revealed your true identity at the end of episode 5, then you will not have Flambae in your possession. Here, you need to select any Combat and Vigor-related character to handle things in a different way. I had to send Prism and Coupe because I had sent Golem and Punch Up on a different task.
The only thing you need to make sure of is to send it to anyone who has over 7 Vigor and Combat on their profile. They will be able to break the ice without any problem.
Reward: The Z-Team will receive an XP bonus. But if the XP bonus is set to normal, you will miss out on the 200% XP bonus for Flambae.
So if you have Flambae on your team, choose to melt the ice as it will grant Flambae a whopping 200% XP. If the option is not available, then you have no choice but to roll with breaking the ice, which requires a lot of smashing.
