Episode 8 has plenty of emotional moments; one such moment is when Shroud captures Beef and demands that Robert hand over the Astral Pulse. After Robert gets out of the Mechaman suit, he will have the previous Astral Pulse that didn’t work and the real one. Here, you will need to make a decision whether to give the real one to the Shroud or the fake prototype version, or lastly, hand over both of them in Dispatch.
Give Him the Astral Pulse
After you decide to hand over the real Astral Pulse to Shroud, he will inject the pulse into his brain and become more powerful. You will see a red glowing aura around him and all his minions. Then he will decide to shoot at Robert to finish the job and cut off the loose ends. Compared to other choices, this is a straightforward one that moves to the finale without any messing around.
Depending on the relationship with Invisigal, the next scene will be different. Here, you will either get the choice of Sparing or Killing Shroud, or Invisigal will just outright kill him.
Give Him Both

This one is the funniest choice; if you hand over both the real Astral Pulse and the Prototype, the next scene features a lot of puking. Shroud, along with his minions, will start throwing up. Once Robert gives Shroud both, Shroud will then throw away the real Astral Pulse and inject himself with the Prototype variant. This will cause him to break down, as he will start throwing up everywhere. The rest of the scene will play out the same without any changes.
Give Him the Prototype
This one is short; if you do hand over the Prototype variant of Astral Pulse, then Shroud will immediately throw out the pulse. He knows the difference between the real Astral Pulse and a fake or Prototype one. The same animation plays out during the Give Him Both choice, but instead of the real one, if you hand over the Prototype version, he throws away the fake one and asks for the real one from Robert. The rest of the scene will have the same notes.
I recommend that you choose to give him both options to see Shroud on his knees, throwing up along with all of his henchmen. The rest of the scene plays out the same, as you will have to make a decision whether to spare or kill Shroud.
