The newest expansion pack for Diablo IV is just around the corner, and you will get several new changes with new added features that will enhance your gameplay experience. With the Vessel of Hatred, you can partake in the new Paragon System and also try out the new Spiritborn class. The Spiritborn class might appear similar to the Druid class, but appearances can be defective, as they say!
In this guide, we have put up everything there is to know about the new Paragon System as well as how the new Spiritborn class works in Diablo IV Vessel of Hatred
How Does the New Paragon System Work In Diablo IV Vessel of Hatred?
Diablo IV’s Paragon Board is an important endgame system when it comes to improving your character build and unlocking new buffs and attributes. With the new update, the Paragon Cap has been increased from the earlier level of 100 to 300. This will give players the opportunity to grind even more and perfect their builds.
The next change that you will find is that all characters will now share the Paragon level progression, so you don’t have to start a fresh board for each character within one account. This way you can quickly switch between characters and retain the progression that you have built on the Paragon board.
All Glyph Changes In Diablo IV Vessel of Hatred
Earlier, you were required to upgrade your Glyph by gathering experience and playing the game. But now, you have some new rules put in place. You can increase the Glyph Rank by participating and completing Pit of Artificers. But there is a catch for this. The higher the Pit Tier challenge is to your Glyph rank, the better your chances are to earn bonus ranks quickly. But the higher levels within the Pit of Artificers will test your strength and skills, and will get increasingly more challenging to clear.
Each attempt of a higher tier Pit challenge will ensure that you get bonus upgrade ranks per attempt. You will also receive bonus ranks if you successfully complete the challenge without dying. Furthermore, you can increase your Glyph rank to level 100, bypassing the previous 25 level cap. Upgrading your Glyph from Rare to Legendary is now possible with the help of Gem Fragments. This feature is available once your Glyph rank reaches level 45, and you will receive the following bonus for upgrading the rarity
- Increase in Glyph Radius Size from 4 to 5
- An additional affix is applied to a Glyph
Spiritborn Class Explained In Diablo IV Vessel of Hatred
The newest class to launch in the Vessel of Hatred expansion is the Spiritborn. This class comes part and parcel with the new region, Nahantu. The Spiritborn can channel the elements of four different animal spirits embedded deep within their blood. The four elements and animal spirits you can essentially control are:
- The Jaguar: Uses multi attacks and deals Fire damage
- The Eagle: Attacks with the Lightning element and offers high mobility
- The Gorilla: High defense with increased Physical damage
- The Centipede: Deals Poison damage and induces debuffs
The Spiritborn also offers the following two effects
- Ferocity: Increases attack speed by 5%, and an additional 5% per stack. Can stack up to 4 times and each stack lasts 4 seconds.
- Resolve: Damage Reduction is increased by 20% when activated. Creates stacks when taking direct damage, and can stack up to 8 times.
With the Spiritborn, you can use its versatile moveset to dish out combo attacks with different elemental buffs. When it comes to weapons, the Spiritborn can wield a new weapon called the Glaive, which is a two handed polearm. You can also use Quarterstaves and Polearms to give added depth to your attacks
That’s all there is to know about the new Spiritborn class and the Paragon System in Diablo IV Vessel of Hatred. The Vessel of Hatred expansion is all set to release on October 8th, 2024, and you can explore the never before seen jungles of Nahantu and face new challenges within.
