With the launch of The Edge of Fate expansion, Destiny 2 has introduced a powerful new lineup of weapons for Guardians to experiment with.

Among these, Giver’s Blessing is an amazing Kinetic slot Rapid-Fire Auto Rifle. It shares a similar archetype and performance with the Steelfeather Repeater, making it a must-have for players who prefer aggressive, fast-firing automatic weapons.

This article will go over everything you need to know about the Giver’s Blessing and provide a complete God Roll guide for the weapon in Destiny 2.

How to Get The Giver’s Blessing

You can get Giver’s Blessing by playing Kepler’s activities or finishing the Main Quest in the Edge of Fate expansion. Once you’ve unlocked it, you can keep farming for better rolls depending on how you like to play. This weapon comes with several strong perk options, so it’s worth chasing a god roll.

    Giver’s Blessing PvE God Roll

Giver’s Blessing is excellent for PvE, especially when it comes to clearing groups of enemies. Its Rapid-Fire Frame gives it a high firing speed, and the recoil is easy to manage. This makes it ideal for quickly taking down multiple enemies in a row.

    Best Perks for PvE:

    • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
      • This barrel reduces recoil and boosts handling. It helps keep your aim steady during fast-paced fights.
    • Magazine: Appended Mag
      • A larger magazine means you can shoot longer without reloading. It works well with perks that benefit from landing multiple shots quickly.
    • First Perk Slot: Feeding Frenzy
      • Each kill gives you faster reloads. In areas with lots of enemies, this keeps the weapon ready at all times.
    • Second Perk Slot: Adrenaline Junkie or Kinetic Tremors
      • Adrenaline Junkie increases damage after grenade kills and stacks even more when you get weapon kills. It’s a strong combo with Feeding Frenzy.
      • Kinetic Tremors causes a shockwave after hitting precision shots in a row. This perk is especially strong when you wear the Techsec Armor Set, which boosts kinetic damage and has a similar shockwave effect through its fourth perk.
    • Masterwork: Range
      • More range helps your shots deal full damage from a greater distance. It also makes the weapon more reliable in mid-range fights.

Giver’s Blessing is rated S-Tier for PvE. It works great for dealing with groups and causing area damage. Its unique trait, Exhaustive Research, lets it fire a homing rocket if you aim down sights for a short time.

When combined with Adrenaline Junkie, this can help take down tougher enemies like Elites. It’s not quite an Exotic, but it feels close, like a more accessible version of Quicksilver Storm.

    Giver’s Blessing PvP God Roll

In PvP, Giver’s Blessing isn’t as strong as in PvE, but it can still be effective. It works best in group fights or when you’re trading shots with several enemies. With the right perks, it can hold its own in many Crucible matches.

    Best Perks for PvP:

    • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
      • This barrel boosts the weapon’s range. More range means better performance in mid-distance duels.
    • Magazine: Armor-Piercing Rounds
      • These rounds give a small range boost and are good for breaking through shields. They’re helpful in dealing with players using Overshield abilities, especially Titans.
    • First Perk Slot: Moving Target or Rewind Rounds
      • Moving Target improves aim assist and makes it easier to strafe while aiming. It helps in one-on-one duels.
      • Rewind Rounds gives you back some ammo if you land enough hits. It’s a great option if you can stay accurate and keep shooting.
    • Second Perk Slot: One For All
      • If you hit three different enemies, this perk gives a damage boost. It’s useful during team fights or when you’re dealing with multiple players close together.
    • Masterwork: Range
      • Just like in PvE, extra range helps you compete at longer distances and makes the weapon more consistent overall..

Giver’s Blessing is considered B-Tier in PvP. It may not beat the top auto rifles in duels, but it’s still a solid choice for players who enjoy using fast-firing weapons.

It’s especially good in team-based modes or 6v6 matches, where there are more enemies around to trigger perks like One For All. It’s a good substitute for BrayTech Werewolf, though that gun is better for precision-focused combat.
