Deltarune Chapter 4: Annoying Dog Race Guide

The beloved Annoying Dog lives up to its name from Undertale to Deltarune. In Chapter 4, the game has a hidden encounter with the Annoying Dog that ends with a race between you and the dog. This recreation of Fast and Furious gameplay between you and the Annoying Dog should not be missed. Here is a guide to take part in the Annoying Dog Race in DeltaRune.

How To Get to the Dog Room

The Annoying Dog Race event is hidden in Chapter 4 in the Dark Sanctuary Study room. Once you are in the room, take the staircase on the right, on the upper floor, and head through the dark door on the right of the location. You will soon find yourself in the Dog Room, which conveniently serves as a race room. As soon as you enter the room, you will see the Annoying Dog on your right. The camera will zoom in on the eyes, and the race will kick off immediately.

    The Race Begins

The game will instantly launch you and the dog to the separate pillars. Now you just have to focus on moving upwards. If you can’t find the way, then turn left or right, and you will eventually find climbable sections to launch yourself forward. Carry on forward, and you will see the pillar on the right falling apart, taking the Annoying Dog with it.

The game is not over yet; the Annoying Dog will show up with two giant long sticks to get close to you. Now you just have to move fast, but no matter how much button-mashing you decide to pull off, the dog will be faster and beat you with four of its legs.

But luckily for us, someone placed a Bone next to the red treasure chest. Once the race is over and the dog has made it to the top, it will grab the Bone and leave the area, in the most classic Annoying Dog fashion, leaving the red treasure chest for ourselves. Open the chest, and you will find DogDollar. It is a race rigged from the start, but at least you get a participation trophy at the end.

When you open up the storage, the DogDollar description states: A dollar with a certain dog on it. Its value decreases in each chapter.
