Deltarune Chapter 3: How To Get Pipis

Players who have been with Deltarune since Chapter 1 would be aware of an entity called Pipis that can be randomly found. Earlier, these Pipis served as traps, but the one in Chapter 3 is completely different. While a Pipis may resemble an egg, it is anything but that. This guide will explain how to get the Pipis in Deltarune’s Chapter 3.

How to Get Pipis in Deltarune

During Chapter 2, you would have encountered Pipis as traps. When detonated, these Pipis will release Spamton faces that will fly and hit the protagonist. Pipis usually resemble blue plastic eggs that lay around at random, but in Chapter 3, their use is completely different. To get a Pipis in Chapter 3, you first need to participate in Tenna’s game show.

Then, after unlocking the TV World – Concert save point, walk along the red carpet and defeat enemies while completing challenges and even more quizzes. Keep going through the pathway till you come across the area pictured above. You will notice an immovable green screen showing a smile at the bottom sections of the TV screens. Before you interact with it, equip one of the following items on your character or on your companions.

    • Dealmaker
    • Puppetscarf

You can obtain these items if you had completed the Spamton NEO battle in Chapter 2 and either fought him via ACTing or a regular fight. Then, interact with the still TV screen and you will be led to a secret area. There is a lone locker in the middle of the room, interact with it and the Pipis will fall out.

Depending on what item you had equipped on your character or companions, you will receive different and unique dialog options that will further cement the lore between Tenna and Spamton. If you didn’t equip anything, then Tenna will just talk to the audience before leaving.

    How to Use Pipis

If you haven’t equipped any item before entering the secret room, then Tenna will leave the Pipis lying on the floor. You can pick it up after he leaves to add it to your inventory. While out of battle, Kris can consume the Pipis to gain 100 HP. This won’t work on the companions, as they will outright refuse to consume it. For more Deltarune guides, check out the ones on Chapters 3 & 4 Recruits List, How to Get All Grand Photos in Chapter 3, and Chapter 4 Weird Route Guide.
