The Veilguard, like all Dragon Age games, has you finding new companions and making some tough choices. Along the way, you can pick up a couple of side quests as you unlock new locations. Once you have discovered the Treviso Canals area during the main story, you can start the Partners in a Dangerous Crime side quest.
Within this quest is a Brazier puzzle, where you need to locate and ignite all four Braziers to solve it. Some of these braziers are located in hard-to-reach areas, and that’s exactly why we have put up this guide to help you with the Treviso Canals braziers puzzle solution.
How To Start Partners In A Dangerous Crime In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
After unlocking Treviso Canals, just follow the main story quests till you reach Cantori Diamond. To unlock the Partners in a Dangerous Crime quest, you must complete a prior side quest called Spies Among Us. For that quest, you need to find the missing Crow, and then return to Chance Candide in Cantori Diamond, Treviso Canals. Talking to Chance will start the next part of the side quest, which is what we are looking at right now.
How To Solve The Treviso Canals Brazier Puzzle
Once you reach the Grande Market, you can follow a trail of torn-up papers that will eventually lead you to the puzzle location. You will find these notes right next to the beacon when you spawn in, and keep following the hints till you reach a small staircase beside the merchant. After reading the final note, you are all set to solve the puzzle.
All you have to do is check out the table beside the brazier first. You will spot a lit candle or a few of them on the table. The number of lit candles on each table corresponds to the order in which the braziers need to be lit.
Brazier Location #1
In the central section of the Grande Market, just in front of the large staircase, is where you can find the first brazier. There is a performer standing next to the brazier, so you can’t miss it.
Brazier Location #2
In the same area, just turn around from the first brazier and head over to the west side of the staircase to find the second brazier.
Brazier Location #3
Enter the alleyway on the north side of the staircase to find the third Brazier. There are two people chatting nearby, so you can use that as an indicator.
Brazier Location #4
Exit the alleyway and head east down the stairs to find the final brazier to light up.
Use Taash’s Ignite ability on all the braziers to light them up in the correct order. When done correctly, the door next to the fourth brazier will open up, helping you continue with the quest.
