Dead by Daylight continues to grow its Survivor lineup with an exciting collaboration featuring characters from The Walking Dead. Among the new additions is Michonne, a fan-favorite character known for her strength and survival instincts.
Her arrival introduces three brand-new perks that players can build around. In this article, we’ll discuss each of Michonne’s perks and talk about the best builds for her in Dead By Daylight.
Michonne’s Perks in Dead by Daylight

Although Michonne doesn’t have her katana in the Entity’s realm, her toolkit reflects her combat experience and team-oriented mindset. Her three perks are Last Stand, Teamwork: Throw Down, and Conviction. Each of these perks is different from the other as per your playstyle.
- Last Stand activates after staying in the Killer’s terror radius without being chased for a specific duration. Once active, a rushed vault stuns the Killer for 3 seconds if they are within 2.5 meters. This perk can be used only once per trial.
- Teamwork: Throw Down is triggered by blinding or stunning the Killer with a pallet. It grants the Endurance status to nearby injured Survivors for up to 10 seconds and reveals the Killer’s aura to them.
- Conviction activates after you heal another Survivor for one health state. Once you reach at least 25% recovery progress while in the dying state, you can instantly pick yourself up. However, this causes you to enter the dying state again after 20 to 30 seconds and applies the Broken status effect.
Each perk has its own strengths, and when paired with the right complementary perks, they can significantly enhance your survivability further.
Dead by Daylight: Best Michonne Builds
Best Build for Last Stand

The Last Stand perk is best when combined with other stun-based perks to make you a constant threat to the Killer. Since it requires time spent in the Killer’s terror radius without being chased, you need perks that help you remain undetected during this setup phase.
The best perks to pair with Last Stand are:
- Decisive Strike: It is a post-unhook stun that forces the Killer to drop you if you land a difficult skill check after being grabbed.
- Head On: Activates after hiding in a locker for three seconds. It lets you stun the Killer with a rushed exit.
- Quick & Quiet: Allows you to perform vaults and locker entries without sound every 20 seconds. It helps you stay hidden while charging Last Stand.
As optional support, Iron Will can suppress your character’s pain sounds when injured, making it easier to remain unnoticed. Urban Evasion is another useful perk that increases your crouch speed, ideal for sneaking around in the terror radius.
Best Build for Teamwork: Throw Down

Teamwork: Throw Down transforms you into a support-focused survivor who can shield nearby teammates from harm. This build works best when you actively engage with the Killer through blinds or pallet stuns and can keep track of your team’s positioning.
The best perks to pair with Teamwork: Throw Down are:
- Windows of Opportunity: Highlights all windows and pallets, making it easier to find locations for a pallet stun.
- Bond: Reveals the auras of nearby Survivors, helping you time your blinds or stuns when teammates are within range to benefit from Endurance.
- Flashbang: Lets you create a throwable grenade by repairing a generator and then entering a locker. When used correctly, it can blind the Killer and trigger Teamwork: Throw Down.
As for items, a Flashlight is extremely useful. You can use it to blind the Killer while they are vaulting, picking up Survivors, or recovering from pallet stuns. If you prefer not to rely on perks like Flashbang, you can also carry firecrackers or party starters, which achieve similar effects and don’t require any specific perks to function.

Best Build for Conviction

Conviction is a unique perk that allows you to recover from the dying state on your own after healing another Survivor.
Once activated, you can self-revive at 25% recovery progress, but you’ll be automatically downed again after a short period and will be inflicted with the Broken status. Because of this drawback, the right support perks are essential.
The best perks to pair with Conviction are:
- We’ll Make It: Boosts your healing speed after unhooking a teammate, helping you fulfill the healing condition faster.
- Plot Twist: This is a perk from Nicholas Cage’s kit, lets you manually enter the dying state and heal to full after recovery. When combined with Conviction, it allows for a clever workaround where you can use Conviction to recover, then activate Plot Twist to heal fully instead of going down again.
- Unbreakable: Increases your recovery speed and grants you a one-time self-revive.
Tenacity is a useful optional perk here. It allows you to crawl faster and recover at the same time, helping you reach 25% recovery progress more quickly and reposition before using Conviction.
