For Black Ops 7 Zombies, you now get a mobile Pack-A-Punch attached to Ol’ Tessie the Truck. Before you get to craft and build your Pack-A-Punch machine, you need to complete several prerequisites first. This guide will detail how to get the Pack-A-Punch in BO7 Zombies.
Unlocking the Pack-A-Punch in BO7 Zombies
- After spawning into the Ashes of the Damned map, spend your first round or two defeating zombies and accumulating points.
- Near the Janus Towers Plaza is a Server Room that can now be unlocked with the points you have accumulated.
- Turn right at the entrance and use a melee weapon to break open the grate on the floor. This will reveal T.E.D.D’s head.
- Pick up the head and exit the Server Room towards Ol’ Tessie to install the head into it. Interact with either the left or right front doors to complete the objective.
- You will now get a chance to get inside and operate Ol’ Tessie. After you start driving, select either the left path to travel to Blackwater Lake, or the right path to get to Vandorn Farm.
Navigating the Path with Ol’ Tessie
- Ol’ Tessie is able to carry four players if you are in co-op mode.
- Zombies will damage the truck if they get close enough, and dealing a lot of damage will make Ol’ Tessie enter a cooldown.
- The cooldown will last several seconds, which gives the truck enough time to heal and restore HP.
- Do not get off the truck once inside, as the enemies that will surround you will be faster and tougher to beat. Shoot at them from inside the truck to keep Ol’ Tessie safe.
- While riding, avoid running over red spores on the ground, as these will detonate and deal damage
- Do keep an eye out for green spores instead and go over them to heal Ol’ Tessie.
Restore Power and Travel to Ashwood
- Once you reach either Blackwater Lake or Vandorn Farm, your task here is to restore power.
- If you fail the restore power objective, wait for the next round to roll by to try again.
- After clearing the generator of the pulsing cysts, look around for the quest marker that will lead you to the power switch.
- The doors to the building where the switch is located are locked, and you need to spend 1,750 Essence to unlock them. The power switches are always located on the top floor.
- After activating the power switch within your respective area, your next task is to travel to Ashwood.
- Hop into Ol’ Tessie and drive along the path to reach the center of the map.
Locate the Power Pump in Ashwood
- As soon as you enter Ashwood, you will get two quest markers that will lead you to two different zipline locations.
- Pick the closest one to you and make your way up towards Market Square or the Ruby Rabbit.
- Next, unlock any of the metal doors along your path, but avoid unlocking any floating boxes. Each metal door will require 1,000 Essence to unlock them.
- The only floating box doors you need to unlock are at Judgement Square or at Rabbit Alley, depending on which zipline you took to get here. These box doors will require 1,750 Essence to unlock them.
- This will lead you to Ashwood Bridge, where the Power Pump is located.
- Repeat the steps of clearing the pump off cysts, then head up the stairs near the pump to turn on the switch.
Installing the Pack-A-Punch
- A garage will now be unlocked. Just follow the quest marker to find it.
- Get inside Ol’ Tessie and drive towards the garage, then park the truck inside.
- Interact with the workbench on the right side of the garage to upgrade the truck and install the Pack-A-Punch.
- Interact with the trunk of Ol’ Tessie to use the Pack-A-Punch.
Wherever you are on the BO7 Zombies map, as long as you know Ol’ Tessie’s location, you can head over to the truck to use the machine whenever you want. This big map in BO7 Zombies also has the Plant Sprayer Easter Egg, and Perk-A-Cola locations to find.
