How to Get SS Shadows Fast in Arise Crossover
There are two ways to get SS Rank Shadows, but both methods will require a bit of time and effort. The first method is to upgrade Shadows by combining Shadows of the same type across different ranks. The second method is to locate dungeons and collect Shadows as rewards after clearing it. But the dungeons you need to look out for are S Rank dungeons, which can be a bit hard to come by since dungeons spawn with random ranking.
There is a neat trick to locate S Rank Dungeons in the game. For starters, S Rank Dungeons will spawn at fixed times, which are at 1 AM and 7 AM CST, and again at 1 PM and 7 PM CST. You get 4 opportunities to find an S Rank Dungeon, so keep an eye out for their Discord ping. Once you find the dungeon and it so happens to be an S Rank, quickly dive in and defeat the final boss to claim it in your team.
Note: The Shadow you get within an S Rank Dungeon can be an S Rank or SS Rank Shadow, so there is no guaranteed spawn rate to get a SS Rank Shadow through this method.
Best S Rank Dungeon Location
All islands will host a S Rank Dungeon from time to time, but it is worth taking your time to clear out the ones on Leveling City. The bosses within these dungeons are the easiest to beat, so you can quickly claim an SS Rank Shadow to add to your team. Shadows from Leveling City dungeons will offer around 4 Million to 8 Billion damage at level 200, with Vermillion having the highest damage output.
Since summoning Vermillion is a pain, you can pick up other SS Ranking Shadows in Leveling City like Anders and Largalgan, who offer 2 Billion and 3 Billion damage respectively. But you don’t have to end your search here, as other islands also have high damage wielding SS Ranking Shadows. SS Rank DOR from Grass Village has 15 Billion damage, and Mifalcon from Brum Island offers the highest damage at 24 Billion.
