The new update to Arise Crossover adds flashy content and drastically changes the upgrade system. Previously, before the update, if you wanted to take your unit to SS Rank, you had to run an S-Rank dungeon and “Arise” the unit inside it. The chances of the unit turning into SS was sitting at 2%. But all of these mechanics have received a makeover with the update. Here we will take a look at the ways you can use the Shadow Upgrader to merge your shadows to Rank SS.
Steps To Merge & Upgrade Shadows To SS Rank
Shadow Upgrader merges all the shadows from different Ranks and upgrades them to SS Rank. It acts as a merger and upgrader, but you will need a few things before using the Shadow Upgrader.
- Interacting with the Shadow Upgrader! will open up a prompt titled “Shadow” displaying 6 empty boxes with Rank details underneath. On the right of the Shadow panel, you will have a small empty panel titled “Result.”
- Each box in the Shadow panel will have a specific Rank Letter (Rank: S/A/B/C/D/E) written under it. Our job is to put shadows in each of the boxes to see the Result.
Note: You can’t add shadows that are equipped or locked! Shadows with different types will not work. Shadow Upgrader will not accept different types of shadows to spew out an SS Rank. It must be the identical shadow for each Rank.
- You need to put the same shadow for each Rank in the boxes. Let’s assume you have Luryu shadow Rank B, then you need to collect Luryu for Rank C/D/E/A/ and S.
- Once you have Luryu for Rank S/A/B/C/D/E, you can interact with the Shadow Upgrader! to upgrade them to SS Rank.
- After adding the same shadows in all of the boxes, you will get the option to upgrade the shadows on the right panel titled “Result”.
- The upgrade will cost 5M Gems or 59 Tickets. After you pay the amount, the unit will get a level up to SS Rank.
Now you don’t have to raise the shadows in an S-Rank dungeon, hoping it will take the unit to SS Rank. You just have to get the same shadow under different ranks and head up to Shadow Upgrader to upgrade them from Rank S to Rank SS easily.
