ARC Raiders’ Blue Gate map is home to a plethora of mysteries, and to add on to that, Embark Studios has added secret puzzles sprinkled throughout the entire location, which offer access to valuable loot. There are a total of six puzzles, and we have compiled every location and solution required to make your experience through the Rust Belt easier. Therefore, here’s a complete guide to every Blue Gate puzzle in ARC Raiders.
How to open the Basement Door in Ancient Fort
To open the basement door in Ancient Fort on the Blue Gate map, collect three batteries located around the fort, then insert them into three separate fuse boxes on the first, second, and third floors of the fort. The spawn locations for these three batteries are randomized, but you’ll always find them in the destroyed ruins located all around the Ancient Fort. The location of the fuse boxes, however, remains fixed. If you cannot find the fuse boxes inside the fort, follow the black wires on the ground.
First Battery & Fuse Box Location
The first battery spawns inside the ruined building to the left of the Ancient Fort (west) with a small tower. Carry the battery to the southern wall of the fort (right side) by heading straight from the ruined building with the small tower. You’ll find the first fuse box on the fort’s wall.
Second Battery & Fuse Box Location
The second battery spawns in at the ruined building to the northeast of the fort. From the first fuse box, go straight, then head left to find two ruined buildings. The battery will be located at the second ruined building that’s farther away, beside a metal shelf. Pick up the battery, then head to the second floor of the fort to find the second fuse box beside a metal cart, out in the open.
Third Battery & Fuse Box Location
The third battery spawns inside the fortress itself, in the dark room with the orange/yellow cloth. Head through the fort’s entrance, then turn right into the dark room to find the final battery. Then, head to the third floor and insert the battery.
Secret Basement Door Location
Once you’ve done that, drop down to the right to find the basement doors open next to the fort. Climb down and collect the valuable loot from the area. All black wires are connected to the three fuse boxes, so it shouldn’t be that hard to find them in ARC Raiders.
How to open the Secret Hatch in the Deforester Husk
To open the secret hatch in the Deforester Husk, head to the large, ruined ARCs in either of these two locations: east of the Maintenance Bunker or west of the Adorned Wreckage, and repair them with 2 ARC Powercells. Both solutions remain the same, so we’ll focus on the unmarked ARC that’s located to the east of the Maintenance Bunker.
Collect the ARC Powercells either from looting the area or defeating ARCs, then head to the middle of the giant, ruined ARC, where you’ll find an opening to a turbine. Climb towards the opening, then use the first ARC Powercell inside it on the fuse box to the left. Repairing it will activate a fire trap on the right. Avoid it, then use the second ARC Powercell on the second fuse box at the end of the turbine on your right.
Next, exit the turbine, then climb to its top floor using the platform just outside it. There, you’ll have to dodge the fire trap again and interact with the node at the end of the turbine to disable the traps and pave the way to loot valuable resources and items. This node will be directly above the second fuse box at the end of the turbine.
How to unlock the secret cellar in Reinforced Reception Terminal
To unlock the Reinforced Reception Terminal locker, activate the terminal inside, then follow the color displayed on the screen. Head inside the Reinforced Reception, then rappel down using a zipline. Then, turn left and interact with the terminal in front.
The terminal will display either of the three colors: red, blue, or yellow. The colors are randomized, so whichever color it shows, follow the markers and the colored lines on the walls and floors of the area to reach the loot locker. There’s an alarm at the loot locker, which may attract other Raiders, so beware. Be sure to gear up before you solve this puzzle, as you’ll find multiple ARCs patrolling the Reinforced Reception.
How to Solve the Reinforced Reception Battery Puzzle
There’s another puzzle inside the Reinforced Reception in ARC Raiders that requires you to collect three batteries, then follow the blue-colored line to find the battery slots and solve it. Start at the area with the terminal, where you began the Key Color puzzle. Now, you need to head to these three locations to find the batteries:
First Battery Location
The first battery is located underneath the staircase with the L (red) and R (blue) markers on the wall in ARC Raiders. From the terminal, walk straight ahead to find the stairs with the L and R markers, and you’ll find the first battery underneath it.
Second Battery Location
The second battery is located atop the stairs with the L and R markers, next to a doorway in ARC Raiders. From the first battery’s location, climb the stairs, and you’ll find the second battery on the right, next to the doorway and a couple of benches.
Third Battery Location
The third battery is located inside the first room on the left after climbing down the stairs from the second battery in ARC Raiders. After collecting the second battery, climb down the stairs with the L and R markers, then head left and follow the blue-colored line. You’ll come across a room on the left. Head inside and you’ll find the last battery required for this puzzle. Now, there’s a bug that causes the batteries to glitch out, so if you face any issues, check back again during your next expedition in ARC Raiders.
Battery Slot Location
Once you’ve found all three batteries, follow the blue-colored line from the third battery’s location to the right of the area, through the hallway, and you’ll find the battery slots on the right, next to a metal shutter. Insert all three batteries, then open the shutter to find a room filled with valuable resources, items, and weapons. Since you’ll find some ARCs patrolling this area, make sure you gear up before you solve this puzzle.
How to unlock the secret locker in the Underground Tunnels
The final Blue Gate puzzle in ARC Raiders is located on the other side of the map, inside the underground tunnels on the far right side. Head to the location as shown in the image above, and you’ll find a long tunnel with a large white truck. From the truck, head left inside the tunnel, then take another left to climb the flight of stairs.
Above the stairs, you’ll find another terminal. Interact with it, and it will display either of the three colors: red, blue, or yellow, similar to the Reinforced Reception Key Color puzzle. Whatever color it shows, you need to follow the corresponding markers on the wall to reach the loot locker. Accessing the loot locker will trigger an alarm, so be careful of attracting other ARCs and Raiders.
