Finding an item in any game is a challenge itself, it can get very difficult (but satisfying) if the game refuses to handhold you throughout the ride. In Starfield Shattered Space, there are a total of 5 Wayshrines. The first one starts the questline, and you are asked to find the other four Wayshrines. While the task might sound easy and simple, finding all of them with little clue can be difficult. This guide will help you cover all four Wayshrine locations for the Path of Redemption quest easily if time is short on your hands.
All Wayshrine Locations In Starfield Shattered Space
We will need to find four Wayshrines, Wayshrine of Obedience, Devotion, Strength, and lastly Perseverance.
The starting Wayshrine might be the easiest one to come across, but the difficulty amps up from this point. The Wayshrines are far apart from each other, but the guide will help you find them easily. With each shrine we interact with, we will gain a Status Effect on your character.
Think of these Wayshrines in Starfield as Standing Stones you probably encountered in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Each one will give you a bonus effect, but unlike in Skyrim (where the effects stay permanent until you choose another stone), here the effects will last only for two hours.
Wayshrine Of Redemption
You will start off the quest after finishing The Promised, Broken quest in Va’ruun’kai. Here, head to the Wayshrine of Redemption (Northwest of the Scaled Citadel in Dazra City) and talk to Vijun Ahkmav. After you talk to him, he will give you the Path of Redemption book. This book is how we will find the rest of the way shrines to complete the quest.
But the book has its limits, it doesn’t provide the exact location of the Wayshrine, with the large map of Va’ruun’kai we can see how people will get frustrated in finding all of the Wayshrines alone, themselves.
Tip: You need to get close to the area of the Wayshrine, before seeing any markers guiding you to the precise location
Status Effects
Serpent’s Ardor: Regain Health while in combat for 2 hours.
Believer’s Fortitude: Increased resistance against radiation hazards for 2 hours.
Wayshrine Of Obedience Location
- From the Wayshrine of Redemption where the quest began, take the route North, you will find our first Wayshrine, Wayshrine of Obedience, northwest of Shadow Station Epsilon.
- Go up the stairs, then read the Words of Obedience, that’s it, now only three Wayshrines remain on the map to finish the quest.
Status Effects
Serpent’s Tongue: +12% Persuasion rate for 2 hours.
Bathe in Starlight: +10% XP against Zealots for 2 hours.
Wayshrine Of Devotion
- Here you have to go all the way east of Dazra city, you will find the Wayshrine of Devotion northeast of The Scaled Citadel.
- Go up to the Wayshrine and get to the next shrine on the list.
Status Effects
Serpent’s Star: +30% Power Recovery rate for 2 hours.
Bathe in Starlight: +25% Max Power for 2 hours.
Wayshrine Of Strength Location
- Now we have to go all the way south of Dazra City, we will find the Wayshrine of Strength southwest of The Scaled Citadel and Vaifala Crash Site.
- This Wayshrine will be quite different compared to the rest of them, as you will encounter Zealots patrolling the area, so prepare for a fight.
- Read the words of strength to cross off the list. Only one remains!
Status Effects
Serpent’s Fang: +20% Damage with Painblades for 2 hours.
Strength of Faith: +75 Carry Weight increase for 2 hours.
Wayshrine Of Perseverance Location
- This one will be a bit tough to find, but you will need to head west of Dazra city, you will find the Wayshrine of Perseverance southwest of Irina’s Farm, northwest of Abandoned Camp.
- This one ain’t going to be a walk in the park, you will have to come face to face against Va’ruun Zealots. As they will be pretending to be devotees to the shrine. After taking them down read the words of perseverance to finish the path of redemption.
Status Effects
Steady Breath: +20% Oxygen for 2 hours
Serpent’s Wind: +50% jump height and jump distance for 2 hours.
After you have read all the plaques, come back to Vijun Ahkmav, and you will be asked questions about the words on the Wayshrine. As a reward, you will get 3 Koza and 100 XP for finishing the quest line.
