Lies of P doesn’t always have to be dark, as you can collect unique gestures to perform in the game. There are 8 new gestures to unlock in the Overture DLC, and locating them requires you to explore all nooks and corners of the world, and complete a few NPC quests. This guide will explain how to collect all gestures in the Lies of P DLC.
To Be Human Trophy Guide In Lies of P Overture
Collecting all 8 gestures in Lies Of P Overture nets you the ‘To Be Human’ trophy, one of the 11 trophies introduced in the DLC.
Gesture Location #1: Play Dead
You can get this gesture in Chapter 1 – Hall of Adventure by locating a book on the ground floor called Discover Wildlife: Bears! You can find the book on the floor in front of the large double doors, behind the mammoth statue. Pick it up to unlock the Play Dead gesture.
Gesture Location #2: Tap Dance
This gesture can be found in Chapter 1’s Carnival Garden, but you will require a Carnival Coin first. From the Carnival entrance, head left to find a Carnival Coin on a corpse, then head a bit straight and enter the building on the left. After entering the room, make your way to the back to find a mechanical organ. Insert the coin into the organ to activate it, then wait and watch the scene unfold. The Tap Dance gesture will unlock after that.
Gesture Location #3: Cheer
Don’t leave Carnival Garden just yet, as you can unlock another gesture here. Exit the building you were in previously and enter the building on the right. You will find a stage where a clown will announce a talent show. Use the Tap Dance gesture while on stage to unlock Cheer. You first need to get all 4 Carnival Coins before this unlocks however, check our guide on how to go about doing exactly that.
Gesture Location #4: Doubt
For this one, make your way to the Mining Site or Ancient Ruins Excavation Site waypoint in Chapter 3. You need to explore the ruins to find a particular fallen Crusher Puppet. There are three of these puppets lying all around the cave, and speaking to the third Crusher Puppet will unlock the Doubt gesture. The last one lies just after crossing the long bridge that spans the mine, with a smaller one on the right of it.
Gesture Location #5: Heart
You can pick up another gesture within the Mining Site, but you need to complete Rosaura’s side quest first. After unlocking the Pitris Harbor waypoint, you will spot Rosaura sitting on the crates beside the waypoint. She will ask you to hand over Ergo, and on doing so, you get the Heart gesture from her.
Gesture Location #6: Deep Bow
Make your way to the Archon Fleet Shipwrecks in Chapter 4 and explore the first shipwreck till you find your way to the second one. Inside this one, explore the levels till you find the Correspondence from Beyond the Sea item, which will unlock the Deep Bow gesture.
Gesture Location #7: Shiver
This gesture can be unlocked in any Chapter, you just need to die with the Freeze status effect active. The Zelator Underground Facility in Chapter 2 or the Frozen Coast are the best places to find enemies that inflict Ice damage. All you have to do is run around them and take damage while getting the Freeze debuff. The Shiver gesture will unlock right after your death.
Gesture Location #8: Peer Into Distance
The final gesture can be obtained in Chapter 4 – Krat Lighthouse. You have to head up all the way to the lighthouse’s rooftop to get a unique cutscene. At the end of that, you will obtain the gesture.
