Location Of All 10 Scanners in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl
Each region of the Zone in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl has a scanner you can find except the starting region called the Lesser Zone. The “Scanning Complete” achievement is obtained by finding and obtaining the artifact from each scanner in all the regions on the map. Below is a list of all the scanners based on the region in which they are found and the artifacts you can get from them.
Swamps Scanner – Crown Artifact
You can find the Crown artifact from the scanner in the Swamps region which is located on the bottom left of the region on a small island that has a bridge leading to it. This is an easy one to get as there won’t be any danger around except for some enemies you may encounter on your journey there. The Crown artifact that you get from this has a weak increase in physical protection and endurance while giving a medium increase in radiation.
Zaton Scanner – Ciliate Artifact
The scanner in Zaton is found on the top right section of the region at the Hydrodynamics Lab POI and it will be the Ciliate artifact. When you reach the location shown above, you will find a pipe that you can enter. Enter it and follow through till you reach the other side where you will find the scanner. The Ciliate artifact gives a medium increase to both chemical protection and radiation.
Cooling Towers Scanner – Lantern Artifact
The Cooling Towers scanner with the Lantern artifact is found on a metal structure on the right side of the SKD Assembly Unit POI. When you get here, find a ladder you can scale to get on top of the catwalk. Here, use your bolt to get rid of electric anomalies as you make your way ahead. Eventually, the catwalk will lead you to the scanner. The Lantern artifact gives a medium increase in electrical protection and radiation.
Garbage Scanner – Whirlwind Artifact
Out of all 10 scanner locations in Stalker 2, this one is a bit tricky to pinpoint as it’s in an unnamed location. This location is in between two POIs called the Depot and the Flea Market, refer to the picture above. The scanner will be sitting out in the open but it will be surrounded by gravitational anomalies so be careful when approaching it. This scanner will have the Whirlwind artifact that gives a weak increase in physical protection, endurance, and radiation.
Burnt Forest Scanner – Magma Artifact
This scanner in the Burnt Forest region is found in a location named Buring Rift which lies on the bottom middle side of the region, it will give you the Magma artifact. It will be sitting in the center of this location, however it’s also surrounded by fire anomalies so make sure you have good thermal protection. The Magma artifact that you get from this will help you with that in your future endeavors as it gives a weak increase in thermal protection but it also gives a weak increase in weight capacity along with a medium increase in radiation.
Chemical Plant Scanner – Petal Artifact
The Chemical Plant scanner is found near the small bridge on the left side of the region in a POI called “Transformer On The Island”. There will be a small two-story structure here, take the stairs up and then jump out of the window onto the roof to find this scanner. You will get the Petal artifact from this one which gives a strong increase in bleeding resistance but also for radiation. Be careful of the Monolith enemy that might show up after interacting with the scanner here.
Rostok Scanner – Dead Sponge Artifact
This one is quite possibly the easiest one to get from all 10 scanner locations in Stalker 2. Simply head to the building shown above which can be found just before the crashed helicopter and you will find this scanner sitting in the middle of this structure when you enter it. This one gives you the Dead Sponge artifact which gives a medium increase in bleeding resistance and radiation.
Yaniv Scanner – Devil’s Mushroom Artifact
To find the scanner in Yaniv, head to the bottom right-most part of the region on the very edge of the map. Refer to the picture as this is an unnamed location that is far from any other POIs around. As usual, you will find this in the center out in the open and it will be surrounded by bones and remains of dead animals and mutants. Once you interact with the scanner, a bunch of mutated animals will attack you so watch out for that. This scanner will give you the Devil’s Mushroom artifact which gives a strong increase in chemical protection as well as radiation.
Jupiter Scanner – Crest Artifact
You can find the Jupiter scanner at the Pripyat Substation at the bottom left edge of the region, and it will give you the Crest artifact. It will be sitting in between all the electric pylons with seemingly no dangers around but once you activate it, it will spawn an electric poltergeist. The Crest artifact gives a strong increase in endurance and radiation.
Pripyat Scanner – Meat Lighter Artifact
When you finally get to Pripyat to finish your search of all 10 scanner locations in Stalker 2, you will find the scanner for this region on the top part near the shore in a location called River Port. Enter the building and you will see a ladder going up to your right, take this ladder. Then walk out the doorway and turn left to find another ladder up. You will now be on the roof of the structure and the scanner will be on the right side by the edge of the building. The Meat Lighter artifact that you get from this gives a strong increase in thermal protection and radiation.
And with that, you would have unlocked the Scanning Complete achievement. But before heading into Pripyat, you should also know if you should give the scanner to Nor or not in Stalker 2 as part of the Boundary quest.
