Best Way to Get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded
The best way to get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded is to scavenge settlements and locate them within houses and on top of various furniture and defeating Scavenger enemies. This is because unlike wood, stone, or ore, you cannot mine Metal Scraps. Head over to any nearby human settlement and take a look around. Check on top of tables, crafting stations, any furniture, or even on the ground for Metal Scraps. You might also get it as a drop from defeating humanoid enemies within these settlements.
Metal Scraps can also be dropped from destroying objects within settlements. But this isn’t a guaranteed drop, and you are better off farming them inside buildings instead.
Best Metal Scrap Farming Location In Enshrouded
Rookmore village, located north, and beyond Braelyn Bridge is your best bet to farm Metal Scraps in Enshrouded. Start from your spawn location and keep going north, down the green slope till you reach Braelyn Bridge. Use a grappling hook or glider to make it down to the shrouded area below. Head inside the shrouded area and travel northwest. This will lead you to the village of Rookmore, and you can loot all the buildings within this settlement to farm Metal Scraps. Beware of humanoid enemies patrolling the area.
Another place you can check out is Longkeep, which is just west of your initial home base and southeast of Rookmore.
Besides these two places, you can also kill Scavenger enemies outside Blacksmith Vault, as they too will drop Metal Scrap. If you come across any ruins, it is best to explore them, as there is a very high chance to find Metal Scraps lying around inside.
Another place you can check out for Metal Scraps is the Cinder Vault where you first start the game. Break all the urns inside the vault using a pickaxe to quickly farm Metal Scrap. You might need to hit the urns a few times for them to break, but this is one of the earliest and easiest farming locations for Metal Scraps.
Pro-Tip: The good thing about farming metal scraps is that they tend to respawn in the same locations after a while, so you can always leave and come back to farm more!
