Paloxite Ore is an incredibly rare resource that only spawns in the final location of Palworld, within the World Tree. Blocked behind the World Tree Barrier, level 70~80 Pals on the prowl, and a special potion required to nab them, you’ve got your work cut out for you.
In order to maximize the value of your World Tree Holy Water and minimize the time you actually need to spend mining, let’s go over some of the best Paloxite Ore Farming Locations in Palworld 1.0!
Opening the World Tree
To access Paloxite, you’ll need to get into the World Tree itself. Any attempt to access it will see you barred by the massive wall of energy that keeps it inaccessible. Opening the barrier will see you through a whole scavenger hunt, topped off by a battle against the massive Panthalus.
Returning to the barrier with Panthalus and interacting with the small terminal will bring the barrier down, granting access to the whole of the World Tree and the capstone resources inside.
Gathering Paloxite
Paloxite Ore, alongside its equivalent in Mythical Wood, is unique in the fact that it will disintegrate if you get close enough to it without being under the effect of World Tree Water.
World Tree Holy Water is given to you in groups of 10. The first chunk is given to you by a level 77 NPC that you meet right outside the entrance to the World Tree. Extra World Tree Water can be found at small elephant statues littered around the World Tree, and by killing or catching Pals.
Consuming World Tree Holy Water gives you a one-minute-long buff that stops Paloxite and Mythical Wood from disappearing, allowing you to mine them with a Plasma Multicutter. Your gathering time is entirely bound to this buff, so making the most of it is paramount.
Alternatively, Pals caught within the World Tree location have a chance of spawning with certain passives that will stop Paloxite and Mythical Wood from despawning.
These passives, Twin-Edged Holy Blade, Hermit Sage, Demon’s Hand, World Tree Seabed, God of Destruction, and Dimensional Leap all come with some kind of debuff, so make sure to read the exact effects of yours.
Best Paloxite Ore Farming Locations
Paloxite Ore spawns mostly in single-chunk spots randomly through the World Tree. Its bright purple surface makes it very easy to spot amidst the darker shades, allowing you to pop World Tree Holy Water as you approach.
To maximize each vial, look for the rare pockets where multiple Paloxite Ore chunks appear in tandem. I spotted this phenomenon in three spots, each of which you should hit as you conduct sweeps of the tree.
Farming Location #1: Coordinates -1796, 1456
The first farming location is in between two lakes. Utilizing a fast flying mount like Eidrolon will help keep you moving if you feel threatened by the powerful Pals in the area. Be careful, the higher you fly, the more small floating wisps appear. These wisps detonate when approached, turning red before dealing massive damage.
Farming Location #2: Coordinates -1777, 1479
Two more pockets of Paloxite appear right on the two shores of a lake. The close proximity of these two pockets mean that, if you’re fast enough, you can actually snag other with a single World Tree Holy Water!
Farming Location #3: Coordinates -1604, 1516
Our next spawn point rests at the base of a massive set of bones. Once you hit three of these pods, head left past the skeleton’s spine. Further west, about -1661, you’ll find another pod of 4 Paloxite between two massive, curved ribs.
Farming Location #4: Coordinates -1864, 1490
Towards the roots of a massive tree lies our next spot worth mining, a pocket of three beside another small lake. This area also has plenty of Mythical Wood, so take the time grab both it and the Paloxite if you have the carrying capacity.
Farming Location #5: Coordinates -1842, 1510
Smack dab in the middle of an island in one of the lakes is yet another pocket of three Paloxite, ripe to pluck. Remember to have your Pal with the relevant World Tree passive equipped before you approach, or else you risk losing multiple until the area is restocked.
Farming Location #6: Coordinates -1721, 1535
In the southwest corner of the red desert area of the World Tree sits another pocket of three Paloxite in a triangular pattern. This area is patrolled by some of the stronger Pals in the World Tree, so be careful if you’re on the lower-leveled side while exploring.
Farming Location #7: Coordinates -1984, 1446
On the far west border of the World Tree map, you’ll find a small frozen lake you can walk on. Here, alongside the dipping temperature, is our final pod of Paloxite. Once you’ve cleared this pocket out, head out of the area for a bit and wait for them to respawn!
Hitting each of these pods, alongside any singular crystals you find on the path between them, will quickly net you massive amounts of Paloxite to really make the best gear you can. Make sure to mine Soralite as well, as both are required to make the best ores in the game.
