With its full 1.0 release, Palworld has plenty of new options for building your party of Pals. Many of these come from the list of new passives, giving extra variety and niche uses to even the smallest Pal.
We’ll be going over all the new passive skills added in Palworld 1.0, their tiers, and even where you need to go to find some of the more exotic options.
How do Passives Work in Palworld

In Palworld, passives are constantly active effects that randomly roll when a Pal is first spawned. These passives, alongside the Pal’s unique Partner Skills, help define their role either on your team or in your base.
Desired passives can be passed down to new Pals through Breeding, allowing you to min-max the best possible setup if you’re patient enough to start rolling. Passives aren’t all positive, and even certain powerful options can come with downsides. You’ll need to always keep your Pal’s passives in mind as you play. Even if they’re not super explosive, they can make or break a build.
