The gala section contains many James Bond elements of talking with the guests, eavesdropping to find as much information and clues as possible, as our primary objective. If you want to feel like James Bond, this is one of the best missions that covers the social facet of the James Bond gameplay.
The espionage part of the gala section is in particularly memorable, and the area also has the Hitman influence of multiple options and ways to get to our objective. While it cannot technically be counted as an immersive sim, such as Deus Ex or Prey from 2017, the open-ended mission is where the 007 games shine with all of their technical elements, with the fancy visuals.
So wear your fancy suit, because we are about to do just that: eavesdrop, pickpocket, and takedown guards to grab the keys to open the door to the CCTV room in 007 First Light.
How to Open the CCTV Room & Security Room in 007 First Light
The Museum Keycard unlocks the Security Room, which then gives you access to the CCTV keycard to unlock the CCTV room in 007: First Light. There are many ways to access the Security Room: We are going for a stealthier approach, fitting the Bond character. So first, we will grab the Museum Keycard, which will allow us to get into the Security Room, and then we can begin the hunt for the CCTV Keycard for the CCTV Room.
Stealing the Museum Keycard
In the grandiose gala room, with the bar in the middle, you will spot a large staircase leading to the upper floor. Head to the staircase on the left side, take the path on the left, and you will find a woman in a blue dress guarded by a security guard on her right. She will be at the corner, with the 125th anniversary gala poster to her left.
When you eavesdrop on her, you will find out she holds a key to the Security Room. There are many ways to pickpocket the key, but to make it quick, distract the woman by messing with the lamp to her right. This will distract the woman and also the guard near her.
While both of them were distracted, just pickpocket the Museum Keycard from the woman in the blue dress. Now head up the large staircase, turn right, follow the linear route, and you will end up in front of a Security Room. Here, two Webb Security guards will push you away, locking the door to the Security Room behind. Don’t worry, the hardest part is done; now it’s time to infiltrate.

Head Inside the Security Room
If you look to your left, you will see another locked door, but luckily, we have the Museum Keycard that we can use to open it. Head inside the room, and you will find another locked door, but you have the option to Open/Kick/Sabotage. Just open the door, and you will spot a guard in front of you.
Note: You can kick the door, but it will alert the guard waiting outside, so if you want to hit anything that moves, kicking is the best option.
Stealing the CCTV Keycard
Take the out guard at the front, and head through the open doorway on the left. Now you will be inside a large room with guards around every corner. The CCTV Keycard is located in the glass office at the back of the room. I’ve pointed out the location of the card in the picture.
Note: Stick to the path on the left of the room to avoid the camera’s spotlights and guards. Avoid the path in the center leading to the glass room, or you will get caught by many cameras, making the room last a bit longer since you will have to fight off all the guards.
Approach the glass room from behind. So you can take out the scientist inside and grab the CCTV keycard. Don’t approach the glass office room from the front, or you will get caught since the scientist in the room is working on the computer with the front door in his line of sight.
Head inside, take out the scientist, and grab the CCTV card off the desk. Now turn around and open the door on the right, near the back of the glass office room. I’ve marked the door location on the picture, so you will know where to go after stealing the CCTV keycard.
Once you enter the new room, you will spot a pool table in the middle and a number of arcade machines on the left. The CCTV room is located to the right, but make sure to take out the guards before heading inside the room to continue with the rest of the missions in 007 First Light.
