While the system of homework is vaguely explained in the game, leading me and many others to assume the homework must be an automatic process that happens in the background. But truth can’t be further from reality, just like real children, you must manually make your teen Parafolk complete the homework.

How To Do Homework in Paralives?
To put it simply, just interact with the computer inside the house to work on the homework and complete it. You don’t have to open a physical notebook to complete the homework like the boomer generation. I tried to interact with the bookcases and the desk around the house to work on the homework, but none of them worked. You must carry out the homework in the true Gen-Z way, sitting at home, typing away on the keyboard on your computer.
Interact with the computer, and you will get options:
- Do homework
- Practice
- Learn about
- Order
- Hire Services
Select the student kid, interact with the computer, and choose Do homework> Subject (Science or Math, etc)
Everything to Know About Homework System
On the surface, the idea of homework might feel like a chore, but it is tied to the kid’s grade. I would highly recommend completing the homework as soon as possible, before anything else. Don’t worry, there are no virtual parent-teacher meetings, so you don’t have to deal with a room full of disappointed faces for kids’ bad grades.
Note that you can’t just interact with the computer every time and expect to work on homework. It only works when you have been assigned homework by the school. The option for Do homework only appears in the computer’s interactable list if the child has homework assignments.
Checking on the computer over time is not a bad idea, as sometimes it clears off the pending homework for the child. So even if you are obsessed with completing homework, time and time again, hit the computer and see if something is up or not. Both children and preteens will receive homework from their Elementary School. The homework progression system of children carries over to the preteen years. But when you have a teenager, that’s where the flow of homework comes to an end.
Note: If the kids are in a bad mood, then you can think about delaying the assignment so you can focus on working on their emotions first.
In Paralives, homework comes with a two-day deadline. Missing the deadline can jeopardize the child’s grades, so make sure to complete them by the deadline.
