Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake lets you return to Mio and Mayu’s journey through a lost village filled with spirits where history is trying to repeat itself. If you’re familiar with the series, you’ll know that the game is designed in a way where a camera is your only weapon against spirits that are trying to kill you.
With combat limited to spontaneous photoshoots, there are naturally a lot of sections that rely on exploration, collecting notes, and solving puzzles to progress through the chapters. If you’re stuck, don’t worry. I’m going to walk you through each chapter.
This is a Work-in-Progress, as we explore and complete the game, we will keep adding those sections to the article.
Chapter 1: The Lost Village
While there’s a prologue, it’s just a series of cutscenes and following one path. You can’t mess it up, and here are no puzzles. Therefore, we’ll start with Chapter 1, which begins when Mio and Mayu enter the village after the title card shows, finding the Osaka House. The house is abandoned, but the twins decide to enter and look around.
Immediately inside the entrance, you can pick up a news clipping from the floor. Then, head through the door and you’ll see a cutscene with Mayu seeing visions of what’s happened in this house in the past.
After the cutscene, go up the little stairs to your left. From here, there are two rooms. The one to the left is the Kimono Room. There’s a butterfly lantern you can use to save and change your outfits if you want.
Across from the Kimono Room is the Tatami Room. Head into there and pick up the flashlight from the floor. There’s also a diary to the right by some blankets, and another diary just past where you got the flashlight under the window.
When you have the flashlight, go back to the Kimono Room and shine it under the window, where Mayu will mention that something’s there. That something is the Myoga Motif Key, which you need to reach the Camera Obscura.
Once you have the key, return to the door you entered the house through and go down the hallway. As you go past the cloth, you see a woman walk by. Follow her path by taking the first left in the hall. This takes you to a room with a padlock. Use the Myoga Motif Key to open it up, and you’ve solved your first puzzle.
Inside the room, you find a manual about the Camera Obscura, along with the camera itself. Pick up the Camera Obscura, and you’ll watch a cutscene about its creation. As soon as you try to leave this room, you’ll trigger your first combat moment with the woman spirit you saw earlier. Follow the tutorial on how to use the Camera Obscura to defeat the spirit.
Help Mayu up, and if you took damage during the fight, you can restore your health by holding Mayu’s hand before you move onto the next section of the Osaka House.
Now, you try to leave the Osaka house the way you came in, but the door won’t budge and you receive a message that it’s being held shut by a powerful force. Mayu calls your attention to the spirit of a woman on the second floor. While she’s not hostile, you can earn points by taking a picture of her with the Camera Obscura.
Your objective is now to follow the woman’s path, so you have to go up the stairs on the other side of the Sunken Hearth Room.
Open the first door on your left and step inside. You pick up some Herbal Medicine, which restores heath, and a Stone Mirror, which lets you evade death one time when your health hits zero.
Once you have the items from this area, follow the spirit woman’s path to the end room. You’ll start a cutscene, and right after it ends, you fight the woman’s spirit. She has more health than the first wraith you fought, but you learn how to stagger spirits and how to use items to heal during this battle.
When the battles ends, you watch another cutscene, ending Chapter 1 and beginning Chapter 2.
Chapter 2: The Twin Maidens
Mio wakes up alone on the second floor of the Osaka House, and Mayu is nowhere to be found. Naturally, this means your first objective is to find Mayu.
Follow Mayu’s Traces
Stand up and grab the Herbal Medicine to your right. Then, go across the hall to the room with a door that open itself to pick up the Spirit Radio and Mayu’s Charm.
When you leave the room, you spot Mayu leaving the Osaka House. Head down the stairs to the Sunken Hearth room to pick up some Type-00 Film, then follow after her.
You can also find Type-14 Film in the Kimono Room, which also leads to seeing spirits walk by through the window. Before you leave, you’ll fight another wraith. He’s not as tough as the woman on the second floor, but he’s a bit annoying.
Leaving the house lets you unlock the Vanishing Traces filter of the Camera Obscura, which you then use to follow Mayu’s path in order to find her again.
Go down the path and to the left following Mayu. If you stop to pick up the Herbal Medicine under the building at the end of the path, you’ll start a fight with an Aggravated Wraith.
However, after defeating him, you can grab the medicine and continue down the path as you hunt for Mayu. If you’re not sure that you’re still going the right way, just pull out your camera again to check.
You’ll take the first right turn, but you can find a Purple Crystal and Type-61 Film in the open room before that turn.
At the end of the path, take a photo of the twin dolls, then you’ll be able to unlock new items in the point exchange. After you save, if you choose to, continue down the stairs to your right.
Finding the Jizo Keys
When you see Mayu, a door closes behind you, bringing you to your next puzzle, finding the Twin Jizo Keys. Luckily, a Crimson Butterfly appears to lead you the right way.
The butterfly leads you to a trapped boy who calls you Yae. He says the keys are hidden in the village and to follow the Crimson Butterflies to find them. You can save using the lantern in the yard, then continue following the butterfly.
The butterfly takes you to a house, and the Jizo Key (Left) is in the box at the back of the room. When you go to grab you, you get a cutscene of a woman wraith, who you’ll need to fight before you can pick up the key. During this fight, take photos of her face when you can for extra damage. Then, the key will be on the floor by the box.
Follow the butterfly again. It takes you to Kureha Shrine, but you’ll fight a few single wraiths and a group of three wraiths on the way. Make sure you’re looking for items, as you can find Spirit Stones, film, and medicine along the roads.
Inside, you can save at the lantern and take another picture of twin dolls. Then, go to the right and around the back of the altar to find the Jizo Key (Right).
Return to the Tomonaki Gate and use the Jizo Keys to open it, finishing this puzzle.
At the end of the bridge behind the door, you’ll fight the Drowned Woman. She’s annoying because she moves around a lot and her aggravated state makes the area appear as if you’re underwater.
After you finish the fight, go through the gate into the Kurosawa House courtyard. Take a photo of the spirit in the white kimono, and then enter the house to end Chapter 2.
Chapter 3: The Repentance
Chapter 3 begins in the Kurosawa House as Mio sees a barrage of spirits in short snippets. Your first task is to find Mayu, of course.
Escape the Kusabi
Head into the house and to the left, where you find the spirit of a man hiding. When you try to open the door in this room, you start a fight with a wraith that’s holding the door shut. Defeat him, and then you’ll be able to open the door and continue.
Once you go through the door, turn right with the Paraceptual Filter on to see Mayu’s path. Go to the end of the hall, then right. Mayu goes into the closed door on the right. Before you can follow her, you’ll have to fight the woman wraith in the hallway.
Enter the door Mayu went through, and you’ll see her across the room. Turn to your right to pick up another Mayu’s Charm and follow her path.
When you’re about to go through the door Mayu left through, you’ll encounter the Kusabi for the first time. While this is presented as a fight, you can’t beat him. Photos do nothing, and he’ll kill you with one hit. You need to run and find a hiding spot.
Run in the direction Mayu left, then up the staircase. At the top of the stairs, hide in a spot to the right. You’ll spot a Crimson Butterfly near the location that acting as a guide for you. You have to sprint the entire way if you want the Kusabi to lose sight of you, otherwise he’ll know where you’re hiding and still kill you.
When the Kusabi opens a door at the top of the stairs and goes through it, wait a bit, and then follow his path to get back on track for finding Mayu.
Triple Diamond Key
After you go into the door the Kusabi opened, you’ll find the door to your left is stuck. This leaves you one path to go, and you get a chance to save at a lantern inside the Guest Room and pick up more film.
Mayu’s traces continue through the door on the right side of the Guest Room and into the door on the other side, but the door is locked behind a lock with a triple diamond motif on it, starting your next puzzle.
For now, you can only return to the Guest Room, where you find a man holding a camera. Take a photo, and then you can pick up the Exposure Filter from the ground when he vanishes.
The Exposure Filter lets you see things that would otherwise be hidden. In this case, you can test it and swap to the filter and look at the bookcase with your camera, which lets you find some items that unlock the Seijiro Makabe Side Story.
Now, you’re able to go back to the locked door you couldn’t enter earlier. Take a photo of the spirit entering the door, and you can then enter the Master’s Chamber.
Where the spirit was standing, you find a memo about the Triple Diamond Key. But a photo falls to the entrance, and you task updates to going to pick up the photo.
Unfortunately, you might find the Kusabi when you’re back-tracking to the entrance. In that case, you need to hide until he passes.
When you get back to the entrance, you’ll have to fight a wraith before you can pick up the photo. Then, you need to make your way to the Servant’s Room from the photo.
The Servant’s Room is at the end of the Dirt Passageway. It looks like a dead end, but you use the Exposure Filter to reveal the door.
There’s a door that’s partially open in the Servant’s Room, and inside is a spirit. Take a photo of the spirit, and he’ll leave behind the Triple Diamond Key.
Unlock the Triple Diamond Door
As soon as you grab the key, you’ll be attacked by two wraiths. Defeat them, and then you have to make your way back to the Second Floor. Unfortunately, you need to first make a stop in the Ombre Room to hide, because the Kusabi is behind the door when you try to enter the Main Hallway.
Once he leaves, you should have a decently safe time getting back to the Flickering Room and opening the Triple Diamond Lock.
Enter the door, and you’re reunited with Mayu in a cutscene, ending Chapter 3.
Chapter 4: The Hidden Ceremony
After reuniting with Mayu, you stay in the room full of dolls to start off Chapter 4 with a puzzle.
Hina Doll Puzzle
On the ground by the dolls is an item you can grab. You’ll get a photo of the Hina Doll room and you have the Hina Doll Head from when you reunited with Mayu.
Raise your camera and use the Exposure Filter to find that the dolls in the photo are in a different order. Rearrange them to match the photo, then take a picture with the filter active. It should look like this:
Take a photo, and you’ll get the Double Diamond Key from the box that open in the middle of the doll setup. This is needed to open the locked door across the hall from the Ombre Room, meaning it’s time to make your way back again.
Double Diamond Door
As soon as you leave the doll room, you’ll have to fight a wraith that can enter the aggravated state twice. Then, take a moment to save, spend some points in the exchange, and then take Mayu with you to the first floor.
When you reach the Main Hall, Mayu has a cutscene moment the echoes the earlier cutscene of Sae with the Kusabi. Take her hand and go to the Dirt Passageway. There, you’ll face two wraiths, but they appear one at a time, so you might get fooled into believing there’s only one.
From there, it’s a clear trip to the Ombre Room and across the hall to unlock the Double Diamond Door.
Radiant Filter Unlock
When you open the door, take a photo of the ghost going upstairs, then open the door past the Samurai armor and take a photo of the boy spirit looking through the door.
Continue ahead, and the boy will run down the hall, letting you take another photo, before going through a bloodied door that’s locked.
As you go past the door, you’ll start another fight with two wraiths. Then, on the right side of the hall, there’s a little kitchen with another hiding spot that you can use later. You can also pick up Herbal Medicine and a Stone Mirror from the broken pot on the floor.
From here, go to the door at the end of the hallway. As soon as you open it, the Kusabi appears. Turn and run back to the kitchen to hide under the table and wait for him to pass by. Mayu’s AI struggles to join you in the hiding spot, but that’s fine. She won’t give away your position to the Kusabi if she’s in his sight.
When your screen is back to the normal color scheme and the Kusabi’s fog and sound effects fade, go back to the door you saw him come from and enter it properly to get inside the Storehouse. There’s a spirit you can take a photo of and some items to pick up in the room before you go through the door on the right.
Mayu points out that there’s a key in the cell. When you inspect it, it says that the motif matches the one on the bookshelf in the Master’s Chamber on the second floor.
Look to the left, and you can grab the Radiant Filter Memo from the ground, unlocking the Radiant Filter, which is the last filter for the Camera Obscura.
Turn around and find Mayu staring at a cabinet with a bloodstain. Use the Radiant Filter to open the cabinet and find a diary from Yae and Sae about a key hidden in their father’s bookshelf.
Master’s Chamber Puzzle
Now, you need the cell keys and five Ritual Tomes. The first one is in the Master’s Chamber bookshelf, which I picked up earlier because I inspected the shelf before going to get the fallen photo from the entrance.
Next, you’ll need to open the bloodstained door in the Cloth Hallway with the Radiant Filter. This opens the Altar Room.
The Ritual Tome is on the pillow behind the spirit of the priest.
By the entrance, there’s a small door you can go into. Mayu will go into the one on the opposite side, and the path takes you to the Lattice Room, but you’ll be able to get back to the Altar Room for the rest of the Tomes.
There’s a room when you meet back with Mayu that has a box locked with a bloodstained hand. Use the Radiant Filter to open it and take the Shadow Key.
After taking the key, go grab Mayu’s hand to pull her back the way you came. This leads to another Kusabi encounter regardless of which hall you use. Turn around and head back, then go into the opposite hall. After you go down the stairs, there’s a little hiding spot to use. Wait for him to pass by, then return to the Altar Room for the remaining tomes.
The third tome is on the right side of the room at the top of the stairs.
Getting this tome requires stepping on a pressure plate, and Mayu will take your place on it so you can go down, across the room, and up the opposite stairs to get through the door it opens to get the fourth tome.
You can peep into the Master’s Chamber from inside the hall and take a photo of a spirit. When you get back to the Altar Room, Mayu is being attacked by a wraith. You can reach it with your camera from the side your standing on for free damage until it comes over to you.
Now, you need to go to the Master’s Chamber to get the last tome from the floor where the spirits where standing.
Go back to the Storage Room and up the stairs. There’s a bloodied door there that you can unlock with the Radiant Filter to get right into the Master’s Chamber.
Then, it’s time to grab the final tome from the floor and interact with the bookshelf. There’s writing above the Buddha statue that tells you the order the tomes go in, which is, from left to right:
- Crimson Wing Tome
- Twin Tome
- Taboo Tome
- Martyr Tome
- Disaster Tome
The key falls from the Buddha’s hand, letting you take it and return to the cell to open the door with the Light and Shadow Keys.
Opening the Cell
The easiest path is to go back through the shortcut in the Master’s Chamber. Go through the Cloth Hallway to the room at the end once more and open the cell.
Take the Mallet Key from the table on the left, which lets you pick up the Photo: Altar Room as well. Then, explore the cell and grab the rest of the items inside before leaving.
Once you leave the cell, a cutscene triggers to show Mayu getting trapped in the cell, ending Chapter 4 and beginning Chapter 5.
Chapter 5: The Sacrifice
Mayu is stuck in the Kurosawa House’s cell, and you have to leave her behind in order to find the key needed to free her. Time to head to the Osaka House again, which is where you started this haunted journey.
Getting to the Osaka House (Again)
For some points, you can take a photo of Mayu through the little window in the door. Then, you want to head out the door on the right.
This is a path you haven’t gone down yet, but it takes you to the Underground Cellar. It’s a mostly uneventful trip, but you can pick up some films as you go through the path and down the stairs.
When you enter the room at the bottom of the stairs, prepare yourself. About halfway through it, the Kusabi charges in behind you. This chase sequence is going to be a bit longer than normal, so here’s what you need to do.
First, keep going to the door on the other side of the room up some stairs and down another path. You can open it because you have the Mallet Key.
Exiting the door, the Kusabi is still coming, so you can’t slow down. Instead, go towards the bridge you were at before. Cross the bridge and go to the left. There’s a lot of brush there, so go into it and crouch. From here, wait until the Kusabi passes you by, assuming he didn’t notice where you hid and comes to kill you instead, making you start the sequence over.
Even when the color of your screen returns to normal, you might still see the Kusabi on the bridge. He’s not pursuing you, but he will if he sees you.
The Kusabi will leave through the gate that was locked to you at the end of the bridge. After he does, get up and keep going to the left. You’ll find a memo and be prompted to use the Exposure Filter on the gap there. Doing so makes a bridge appear that you can cross.
Go over the new bridge for a Prayer Bead that you can use to empower your camera. At this point, I recommend putting points into your Radiant Filter upgrades, because it’s going to end up being your most powerful option between Prayer Beads and the Radiant Charm. Then return to the bridge from earlier and enter the Tomonaki Gate that the Kusabi helpfully opened for you.
After going through the gate, take the right path to find a Butterfly Lantern. Then, continue down the same path and head left. Around this point, you’ll find a butterfly.
You want to follow it, as it’ll lead you to the trapped boy you found earlier in the game. His name is Itsuki, which you learn from the note that the ghost of Sae drops in front of the storehouse where he’s locked. When you talk to him, he tells you where to find the key you need to free Mayu.
Itsuki says the key should be in the basement of the Osaka House, which can be reached through a path hidden behind the altar. The way to the Osaka House from Itsuki is just going back the way you came, then taking the first left and entering the first door. If you remember, the Osaka House is where you got the Camera Obscura at the beginning of the game.
The Altar Room is conveniently that room where the camera was when you found it.
Solving the Incense Puzzle
In the Altar Room, you’ll be prompted to use the Exposure Filter to make incense appear in the little section that the ghost was staring into. Interact with the discs that appear.
For this puzzle, you have four outer discs and a central one. You can’t interact with the one in the middle, so you need to move the outer discs until their points that touch the middle one match the point they touch. However, moving the outer discs also moves the middle one. It should look like this:
The puzzle opens the door to its right with a ladder heading down into a tunnel. Go down them.
Pick Up the Kurosawa Storehouse Key
The ladder takes you down into tunnels, which make it easy to get turned around. For the beginning section, just follow the wall on the right. At least your flashlight still works, as you might want the extra light to find your way.
Stick on the right until the fork in the path, where you turn left, and you’ll run into another version of the spirit who was at the incense puzzle, along with a partially blocked path that you can crouch to get through.
This takes you into a little cavern filled with vases and chests. The first chest on your right has the Rusty Key in it, which is the key you need to free Mayu.
Return to Mayu
Now, there will be wraiths on your path back to the Altar Room that you have to fight. However, the first one is blind and relies on hearing you to find you, which is also the case for the wraith that’s by the ladder now. Otherwise, your return path is the same as it was getting to the cavern.
The village looks different when you leave the Osaka House. Take note of the empty house that’s down the path on your right as you go back toward the Tomonaki Gate. You’ll need to hide there, as the Kusabi shows up when you’re by the lantern on the way back to Tomonaki Gate. Turn around, and run to the empty house to hide until the Kusabi passes.
Keep going back to the Kurosawa House, and you’ll have to fight another drowned spirit on the bridge like you did the first time you crossed it.
From here, you’ll go back through the Underground Cellar to reach the cell where Mayu is being held in the Kurosawa Storehouse, and find that Mayu is no longer there. Investigate inside and read the note on the table to trigger a cutscene.
Now, you’ll leave the cell use the Paraceptual Filter again to follow Mayu’s traces through the Cloth Hallway. From here, you’ll be locked out of following her exact path, so you need to reach the entrance of the Kurosawa House by going up the storage room’s stairs and through the Master’s Chamber. Be prepared to fight multiple spirits as you go from the Master’s Chamber to the entrance.
Save at the Butterfly Lantern, then use the Radiant Filter to open the entrance door, letting you find Mayu’s traces again outside.
Move forward until you enter a cutscene, marking the end of Chapter 5.
Chapter 6: The Remaining
Chapter 6 picks up right where Chapter 5 leaves off, which is with you having watching Mayu walking down a path with a spirit behind her. The village is still in that darker state that it’s had since you left the Osaka House Your first task is getting into the locked Kiryu House.
Entering the Kiryu House
To reach the Kiryu House, you can use the Paraceptual Filter and follow Mayu’s Vanishing Traces, which lead you to the front of the house.
Once you reach the door, it’s locked, of course. However, interacting with it spawns a Crimson Butterfly that will lead you to the back of the house.
The back entrance is in the path you just came from, but up the stairs that are by the Butterfly Lantern. You can save again if you want, and then enter the Kiryu House.
Finding the Kiryu House Key
From here, you have two tasks. First, you need to find the Projection Room, which you need to use to watch Film Reel 8. Second, you need to get the Kiryu House Key to unlock the front door.
Start by going up the staircase in the room you enter into from the back entrance. At the top, you can open the door to the left and take a photo of Mayu’s Vanishing Trace on the bridge for some points. Naturally, if you try to follow, the door on the other side is locked, so you have to turn around and head back inside, where you’ll fight a wraith immediately.
After defeating the wraith, head straight and follow the path. There’s an open room on the left where you pick up a note and Film Reel 8 on the desk, along with film and Prayer Beads around the room.
After gathering the items, return downstairs. The door that was closed before is now open, and you find the projector inside and Photo: Minakami Bridge on the floor next to it. Use it to watch at least Film Reel 8, but you can watch other reels if you picked them up going through the game.
Here, you learn that the key you need is in the cemetery, which you reach by going down the dirt path that leads to the Osaka House, but continuing past the door to enter the house so you head to Misono Hill instead.
At the hill, you’ll face a group of wraiths. Luckily, they don’t have special abilities besides that ranged spirit attack the priest ghosts have.
After the battle, you want to go to the single lantern, which marks the path you need to take to continue towards the grave you need to find.
Take the first left, and you’ll be prompted to use the Exposure Filter, but this isn’t where you use the bridge photo. Instead, you want to keep going down the path you turned off of.
At the end of the path, you find the evidence of the bridge, but not the path across. Now, you’ll use the Exposure Filter to reveal the bridge, allowing you to cross to the cemetery.
Exploring the cemetery lets you find Prayer Beads and film, including some Type-00 Film. Otherwise, the key is in the back left corner, where a spirit of a man hiding the key appears when you get close.
Your next task is to return to the Kiryu House. You can now use the key to enter the front entrance, but there are spirits you face on the way back that weren’t there before.
Find the Earthly Bridge
Now, you need to find the Earthly Bridge. When you enter the Kiryu House, you find a girl and butterfly who help you navigate this section of the game.
Enter the door opposite the entrance, which takes you to the Altar Room. You can find a Stone Mirror and Type-00 Film here. Then, leave and go down the path to the left. The door on the end has a Prayer Bead, then enter the door on the left to find a room of hanging dolls.
Continue through the door across the room, then follow the path behind it. The door with bloodstains takes you back to the Altar Room, but you want to go down the path to the Tatami Lounge, where you find a save point. The doors on the left are locked right now, so you don’t need to try them.
To the right, go down the path. You’ll find a fork, but the door on the left side is locked, so head down the right side.
In the first room, you can take a photo of sitting twins and read notes about Akane and Azami, as well as how Akane was given an Azami doll to comfort her. There’s also a Prayer Bead in the chest. Once you collect the items, go through the door on the other side of the room.
As soon as you go through the room, you’ll trigger a cutscene, which is followed by a fight with twins. If you kill one before the other, the surviving one revives her sister in an aggravated state, so try to hit both of them with each photo.
Now you can enter the hallway normally. Head to the right and through the double doors that you’ll see a ghost go through. The note on the chest updates your objective to finding the Twin Mechanism.
Solving the Doll Puzzle
As the note says, you need to find the hands and head of a doll to get the mechanism working again. Go back into the hallway and past the Twins Room, then to the left. The ghost of what must be Azami helps guide you.
At the end of the hall, turn into the little room on the right. There’s a chest inside that holds the Left Doll Arm. Once you grab it, go through the door at the end of the hallway that just opened.
Inside this room, use the Radiant Filter to open the door for a shortcut to the Tatami Lounge, then head up the stairs.
A wraith will come out from the spot on the left. Defeat him, then continue down the path and turn right. Open the door on the left and head down the stairs, where you’ll face a wraith that falls from the ceiling. The chest at the bottom of the stairs has the Doll’s Head inside.
If you go back up and take the door on the opposite side of the hall, you find the Servants Quarters. In the first room, the door in the left corner takes you to the Servants Quarter – South, which is where you need to go.
Go through the only other door in that room to be prompted to use the Exposure Filter to reveal a chest in the corner. In that chest is the Right Doll Arm.
Next, head back to the Doll Room, where you started this task, and add the missing pieces to the doll on the right of the chest.
Unfortunately, the mechanism still doesn’t work. You need to make your way to the Hanging Doll Room from near the entrance, but this time, you’ll have to face wraiths on the way. Plus, you need to stop by the Altar Room first, where you take a photo through the hole in the wall.
Use the hole in the wall to unseal the door with the Radiant Filter and enter the room. There, you pick up a note telling you about the souls of dolls. Now, when you go into the Hanging Doll Room, you use the Radiant Filter to find one with bloodstains on it.
Use the filter to unseal it, and then you’ll fight the Dollmaker’s Wraith. After you defeat him, grab the doll’s glass eyes from the floor and return to the Doll Room.
Once you put the eyes in the doll, you hear a sound from the box between them.
Now, you need to make the dolls face each other using the buttons on the chest. If you read the Dollmaker’s Note from the room next to the Altar Room, you’ll know how the mechanism works and that the solution is to use the right button two times and the left button four times.
This starts a fight with twin wraiths again, but with another spirit joining to make them a trio. Once you defeat them, grab the photo on the right stand, and you can enter the path under the chest, putting you back on Mayu’s trail.
Reach Mayu
At the bottom of the ladder, your task updates to getting to Mayu. All you need to do is go down the path until a cutscene is triggered, ending the chapter.
