WoW Midnight is now available for players who purchased the epic edition, and will be available for the rest of players in a few days. As usual, a new expansion means there are new treasures you can find throughout the updated zones.
The Stone Vat is part of the Eversong treasure collection. You’re able to access it after you complete the main campaign to the point of being sent to Fairbreeze Village, as you can go past the village to the Stone Vat’s location and pick up a treasure that you can use to decorate your new home.
WoW Midnight – Find the Stone Vat
The Stone Vat is in Goldenmist Village, which is no longer a dreary part of the Ghostlands and has been added to Eversong Woods. When you enter Goldenmist, go to the right, where you’ll find an Orb of Translocation. Use the orb, and you’ll be sent to an area above the ground-level section of the village. The Stone Vat is up here, so spotting the orb stops you from running around the village on the ground-level to find a vat that isn’t there like I did.
WoW Midnight – Solve the Stone Vat Puzzle
The puzzle is deceptively simple, and it’s a callback to the quests from Legion that you had to do in Suramar. First, after you use the Orb of Translocation, you step into an area with a bunch of grapes that have gold outlines. Collect 10 bunches of grapes. You don’t have to count them, as you are no longer able to pick more when you have 10.
Continue past the area with the grapes to the circle platform with the Stone Vat on it. You can use the treasure chest icon on your minimap to guide you. Interact with the vat, and you have the option to toss your grapes into it. Pick that option.
Once you add the grapes, use the box to hop into the vat yourself. Then, move and jump around to squish the grapes. You’ll know they’re properly squished when the vintner NPC next to the Stone Vat informs you that Sheri sells packets of yeast that you can use to speed up the fermentation of your wine.
Sheri is in the area that had all the grapes you picked. Head over to talk to her and purchase one packet of yeast. It’s the very first item in her inventory, so you should have no trouble finding it.
From here, all you have to do is return to the Stone Vat and interact with it again. Pick the option to add the yeast you just purchased.
Once it’s added, you receive the treasure, which is the Goldenmist Grapes decoration that you can place in your home in WoW Midnight.
