You get the investigation, Nostalgically Yours, halfway through the first Dispatch mission at the beginning of Chapter 4. Here, you must make a decision about correctly guessing the name of the game that has a bomb hidden inside. We just have to figure out the right game that has a bomb and carry out the rest of the process to defuse it.
Investigation Overview
Investigation Name: Nostalgically Yours
Objective: “Search through the inbound retro games” and “Identify and disarm the bomb.”
Required Hero: Flambae
Note: While you can send in three heroes of your choosing, I highly recommend that you send Flambae to this mission to get the special option and a guaranteed success.
First Choice: Deciding on the Game
The right game to select is The Wolves Inside Us. After you send in the heroes to the Nostalgically Yours investigation, you will get a Disruption in the investigation. Here, you will get the question:
Question: Which game is hiding the bomb?
Choices:
- The Wolves Inside Us.
- Manbomber.
- Jasper’s 2.50 Adventure 2: The Return.
Select The Wolves Inside Us to move to the next part of the investigation process.
Note: There are no consequences for picking the wrong answer. You can choose the third one, but it will send you back to the same screen until you get the right one.
Second Choice: Handling the Bomb
Once you have selected The Wolves Inside Us, you will then be transferred to a different pop-up screen, asking you what to do with the bomb. Here we are left with three options:
- Deactivate the bomb
- Destroy the bomb.
- Incinerate the bomb and the game. (Flambae Required)
You can choose to deactivate the bomb to complete the investigation. The investigation will be finished, and you will get the XP reward. But if you have Flambae on your team, you will get the new option to set fire to the bomb and the game, guaranteeing the success of the Dispatch investigation.
