The Scarecrow Mannequin puzzle is one of the difficult puzzles in Silent Hill f. The best way to solve the puzzle and get through the field is by making the right choices without any mess-ups. Some of the scarecrows in the puzzle, thankfully, share some similar visual patterns to make things a bit easier. Here is a guide to solve the scarecrow field puzzle in all difficulties in Silent Hill f.
Clues to Solve Scarecrow Mannequin Field Puzzle in Silent Hill f
While the field is filled with scarecrows with creepy faces, there is one scarecrow that is making a scary face because it has a thorn sticking into it. Removing the thorn from the scarecrow will lead to the location of the next scarecrow. This has to be repeated for five scarecrows to successfully solve the Scarecrow Mannequin puzzle.
When you enter a scarecrow field, you will see a mannequin scarecrow in the beginning. When you interact with the dummy one, it will explain to you what kind of scarecrow you need to look for in the field. Watch out for a scarecrow with a smile or deception, looking at you, eyesore, and a forced smile. Like quite a few puzzles in the game, the solution varies depending on the difficulty level. We have put up the solutions below for Story, Hard, & Lost in the Fog difficulty levels.
Scarecrow Mannequin Field Puzzle Guide for Story Mode Difficulty
#1. Scarecrow Location
From the bale of hay, where we picked up the note, head left of the field, and you will find a scarecrow with her right hand up, holding a sickle in her right hand, her face looking down, and her whole body leaning to the side. Interact with the scarecrow, and you will find the thorn on her right shoulder. After you pull out the thorn, it will point to its left. Follow the directions to get to the next area.
#2. Scarecrow Location
The next stage, get in the middle of the scarecrows, you will find one with her head tilted over to the back and her hands with rope knots on them. If you check her waist, you will find the thorn on the right side. Once you pull out the thorn, it will point to its right.
#3. Scarecrow Location
Here, look for the scarecrow on the right, one with a twisted neck, a face looking up, and her arms in an upside-down V position. Just like the last one, both hands will have rope knots. Interact with the scarecrow, and you will find the thorn under her armpit on her left arm. Once you pull out the thorn, the scarecrow will point to its right.
#4. Scarecrow Location
The direction will lead you to a group of scarecrows. This specific scarecrow will have rope knots on both of her arms, and her face will be pointing ot her right. You will locate the thorn on her belly. She will then point to the last scarecrow to her right.
#5. Scarecrow Location
The specific scarecrow is located all the way at the back; her face will be looking down, and her arms will be wide. You will locate the thorn stuck on her right shoulder. She will have the same resemblance as the first scarecrow, but without any weapon in her hands.
Scarecrow Mannequin Field Puzzle Guide for Hard Mode Difficulty
#1. Scarecrow Location
Interact with the scarecrow on the left with a sickle in her right hand, and her face is also looking in that direction. Here you will find the thorn on her left shoulder. Then she will point to her right for the next scarecrow on the list.
#2. Scarecrow Location
You will find the second one next to the wooden sticks. This specific scarecrow will have a weapon lodged on her back while holding a sickle in her right hand, and her entire body hunched over. You will find a thorn stuck on her right shoulder, near the armpit. Pull out, and she will point in the next direction with her right hand.
#3. Scarecrow Location
Here, get to the scarecrow on the left side of the spot. This scarecrow’s head will be tilted over to her back, and its face will look up. You will also see rope knots on both of your hands. You will uncover the thorn stuck to her belly. Once you pull out the thorn, she will point to her left with her left hand.
#4. Scarecrow Location
Here, get to the scarecrow on the right; this one will have her head pointing to her right with both of her arms spread out. You will discover the thorn under her right armpit. Once you pull it out, she will start pointing to her right side.
#5. Scarecrow Location
You will find the last scarecrow at the back with another one on her left side. This one will have both of her arms spread out and her face looking down. You will locate the thorn on her right shoulder.
Scarecrow Mannequin Field Puzzle Guide for Lost in the Fog Difficulty
#1. Scarecrow Location
You will find the scarecrow on the left of the spot, her face will be looking up with both of her hands wide apart. Here you will find the thorn under her left shoulder. She will then point in the right direction using her right hand.
#2. Scarecrow Location
This scarecrow is located at the back, with both of her arms spread apart, and her face looking down. You will find the thorn on her right shoulder. She will point to her right side.
#3. Scarecrow Location
The scarecrow here will have her face looking up while both of her lower arms down. You will discover the thorn under her left armpit. After you take out the thorn, follow her direction, which will point at the right side.
#4. Scarecrow Location
This scarecrow will be in the middle, with both of her arms spread apart, with her face looking in the right direction. You will locate the thorn on her belly. Follow the direction to the last scarecrow on the list. It will point to its right for the last one on the list.
#5. Scarecrow Location
The last, next to the planted stick on the ground, with the body hunched over and hands spread out. Interact and pull out the thorn on her right shoulder to complete the puzzle.
