Fortnite’s latest update has included several changes, and one of them is the inclusion of the newest OXR Chests. There is a mission to complete, which includes locating and unlocking OXR Chests, without any indicators on where to locate them. This guide will explain where to locate all OXR chests for the challenge in Fortnite.
Fortnite All OXR Chest Locations
The 5 top spots to find OXR chests are around OXR HQ, north of Canyon Crossing, Ranger’s Ruin, north of Outpost Enclave, and the northernmost section of The Hive. Since OXR chests spawn randomly, you might encounter them around several OXR bases on the map during your exploration. But the above locations offer the best shot at obtaining more OXR spawns.
You are not limited to these locations alone; there are a few more places to check where you might have a better time in finding OXR chests. The locations below do offer a couple of chests if you go through them closely.
- West of Supernova Academy, at the OXR Outpost
- Swarmy Stash
- North of Foxy Floodgates
- Northwest of Pumpkin’ Pipes, at the roadside OXR base.
- Another OXR roadside base, up northwest of Shiny Shafts.
- South of Outlaw Oasis
Later on, you get to unlock OXR Bunkers, which give you guaranteed OXR chests. OXR Bunkers are available once you hit O.X.R. Rank A. But till then, if you encounter OXR Stations, Outposts, and Armories, check them out to get a rare chest spawn.
OXR Chest Rewards
The rewards that you receive within these chests are random, but have a higher chance of dropping rarer loot like weapons and Boons. The weapons included within the loot pool are the recent Chapter 6 Season 4 additions like the Sweeper Shotgun, Leadspitter 3000, or Shockwave Launcher. Besides this, you also get a shot at obtaining healing consumables, shielding items, and utility objects.
