Leveling up helps you get stronger, and there are several ways to do that. Besides getting more powerful, the game supplies you with titles to showcase your level to other players. Different titles mean different things, and they indicate different power levels of a player. This guide will detail all the current player levels available and what they mean in Mage Arena.

While interacting with a player or yourself, you will notice that each player obtains a unique title and player level to their name. These titles indicate the player’s status in terms of power level, experience, and performance in the game. There are two indicators that help increase your level and title in the game.

You need to get higher wins per match, and also get higher kills within a match. The least amount of deaths and losses as compared to the total amount of wins and kills will help you gain a higher title and level up. Winning games will give you unique titles, while obtaining higher kills will increase your level. Also, this is a team effort, so if everyone pulls in their weight, then everyone benefits from increasing their levels and earning new titles.

There are 10 titles to collect in the game, and these titles are purely cosmetic. They are considered equivalent to badges to show off to other players. Below are all the titles that are currently available, starting from the lowest ranking title and ending at the highest.

    • Lackey
    • Sputterer
    • Novice
    • Apprentice
    • Savant
    • Master
    • Grand Master
    • Archmagus
    • Magus Prime
    • Supreme Archmagus

Since Mage Arena is a performance based game, you and your team have to work extra hard to level up and get the highest title. Working on your offensive and defensive spells and teamwork is extremely important if you want to quickly climb the ladder and become the Supreme Archmagus.
