Once you gain access to Edwin’s Mansion, you need to locate 5 secret Birthday Reels around the building and view them to get a secret code. This will help you unlock the upper sections of the building, which will bring you one step closer to unlock the True Ending. All Birthday Reel Locations in FNAF Secret of the Mimic
As part of the True Ending, you need to play the final Parachute.exe in the H.E.L.P.E.R. machine. But first, you need to explore Edwin’s Mansion and collect all 5 Birthday Reels. Each reel has a different color assigned to it, so you need to explore the house to find specific lockers containing these reels. You can check out each of the reel locations below.
Blue Birthday Tape Location
After entering Edwin’s Mansion from the basement, enter the locked door and quickly make your way left and enter the first door on the left. Go through the door on the right where you will find a duck animatronic on the table and a mannequin standing on the left side corner. Just behind the mannequin is a locker where you can pick up the first birthday tape.
Magenta Birthday Tape Location
Exit the room all the way back towards the corridor where you entered the mansion from, and this time head through the doorway with hooks hanging in front of it. Head straight and enter the door on the right, then crawl through the vent. You will enter another room, where you will find the locker containing the second birthday tape.
Green Birthday Tape Location
Again head back towards the main corridor and enter the door that is directly opposite the doorway that you used to enter the mansion. You will be inside the projector room, and within this room is a door on the right. After entering it, make your way to the very back of the room, and on the right is an open entryway where you can pick up the third tape from the locker.
Yellow Birthday Tape Location
Exit the room and head back to the doorway with the hooks, then head up the flights of stairs. Once you reach the top, enter the doorway with several hooks hanging in front of it on the left. Walk through the corridor till you find a large door with a keypad on the right, enter the door right opposite this. Pick up the fourth tape from within the locker.
Red Birthday Tape Location
Exit the room and run down the corridor, then quickly duck into the room on the left right opposite the stairs. The final locker containing the film tape can be found on the left side of the room.
How to Get Edwin’s Mansion Code
After collecting all 5 tapes, head back to the main corridor and enter the room opposite the doorway that you entered the mansion from. You will find a projector within the room, use the tapes here and watch each one. At the end of each video, you will get a number, which needs to be pieced together to get the code.
The code is different each playthrough, so you have to memorize the color of the tapes and the number it showed on the projector. Then, head upstairs and enter the corridor on the left, you will spot a large door with a keypad on the right. To the left of the keypad is a photo with the word David, and each letter is a different color.
The colors of the letters correspond with the colors of the tapes you had acquired. You have to follow the order of the colors to type in the code, thus helping you gain access to the upper levels of the mansion.
