Chapter 5 of Doom: Dark Ages has many secrets and challenges inside, one of them is are group of cultists worshipping in circles. They are well hidden on the map behind remote secret locations, without map markers to locate their worship point. Here is an in-depth guide to finding all three Cultist Circles in Doom: Dark Ages; for the Countercult challenge.
All Cultist Circle Locations
We will find all three Cultist Circles in the fifth chapter of Doom: Dark Ages, titled “The Holy City of Aratum“. The Cultist Circles are located in three hidden spots around the map. We have detailed the path you must take to hunt all three of them down.
Cultist Circle #1
- From the start of the map, fly straight with your Mecha Dragon and take a deep dive down the hole, under the Hell Carrier (ship). Dive until you reach the bottom level, where you will get attacked by two titans. The two giants will be protecting the hidden landing zone in the center. Take out both of them to unlock the landing zone.
- Land the Mecha Dragon in the landing zone. Get off the dragon, and head to the area left of the bridge, and you will find a couple of cutlists by the stairs. Kill all of them to clear the first circle.
Cultist Circle #2
- From the map’s starting point, land the Mecha Dragon on the Hell Carrier on your right. Follow the linear path, destroy the enemies, and land on the ground. Here, take the stairs on the right, and now kill all the demons in the area.
- Now, head to the alleyway next to the house with the large stairs, found right off the shrine in the area. You will find gold lying on the ground in the alleyway leading up to a hole at the end. Take all the gold and jump down the hole on the ground.
- Follow the route, and you will find the second Cultist Circle. Kill all of them, and we are on our way to the last one.
Cultist Circle #3
- Get to the spot seen on the map in the leftmost Hell Carrier. Here, head straight into the castle, take the stairs to the right, and take a hard right into the small room. Climb up the ledge and turn left, you will soon see the wooden bridge locked with a giant chain.
- Use your shield to break the chain to release the wooden bridge on your right. Follow the path. Now, another blocking point, smash the giant stone cube with your charge-shield attack to push the stone to the other side.
- Now, walk up to the stone cube, climb on it to the upper floor, and follow the wooden bridge on your left. And jump down into the hole on the right. And you will find the last Cultist Circle on your left in an open area.
