You can live out your dreams of being a cop with The Precinct, and you have to solve the mystery surrounding your father’s untimely demise. Along the way, you get to clean up your city, get to ride unique vehicles, and send the bad guys to jail. To get better in the game, you need to unlock some skills and upgrades that will give your character better abilities. This guide will cover the best skills to unlock in early game for The Precinct.

The Precinct: Best Skills to Unlock First

Each time you complete the missions in the game, you get to earn some XP. With enough XP, you get to level up your character, and in turn, earn a skill point. These skill points can then be used to upgrade some of your abilities to unlock unique features to better your gameplay experience. There are 4 categories to choose from, namely Physical, Combat, Vehicle, and Policing. Each of them branches out to offer different skillsets, and we will list out the best ones below.

    Max Health

Having a 50% boost in health is a requirement, especially when the chances of getting attacked while on patrol is high. With this, your health bar will be slightly longer and you can get more health than earlier. This skill will greatly increase your chances of survival, making it one of the top skills to unlock first in early game.

    Fast Recovery

Another supporting skill that is best to unlock early. With Fast Recovery active, you get to increase the speed at which your health will regenerate by up to 50%. Even if you are getting shot at, you can still recover quickly, and it will take a lot longer to get you killed.

    Timed Breath

This skill is great for stamina recovery, as you can slowly regain your stamina while sprinting. This can help you run for longer distances, which is perfect for early game pursuits. Since a majority of your early game chases will be on foot, you will need this skill early on to help you travel longer distances.

    Additional Holster

The earlier you get to unlock this skill, the better it will be for you. Having the Additional Holster unlocked enables you to equip a secondary weapon, so you don’t have to worry about not having an additional weapon if your primary runs out of ammo.

    Ammo Belt

Alongside having an additional weapon, you will require extra ammo slots. This skill will increase your ammo capacity by 50%, letting you carry extra bullets while you are out chasing culprits. The extra ammo will come in handy during the later parts of the game, so it is best to get it as early as you can. Alongside this, have the Quick Reload skill unlocked to reload your weapons faster.

    Max Stamina

A boost in stamina is always welcome, and this skill will ensure that you get an extra 35% in your stamina bar. This can help you chase down your target better while on foot, and you won’t lose your breath as quickly. Having this skill unlocked early on is best to complete missions quicker and nab your suspects faster.
