You can also try and capture them so you can use them in battle or send them to your base. Alpha Pals usually have added attributes and can drop some rare resources when captured or defeated. Alpha Knocklem is one of the Alpha Pals roaming Sakurajima, and defeating it would be one of your objectives. In this guide we will show you how to find and beat Alpha Knocklem in Palworld.
Alpha Knocklem Location In Palworld
Alpha Knocklem is one of the Alpha Pals found on Sakurajima island, which is just to the west of the main Palpagos islands. You can get to Alpha Knocklem’s location if you travel southwest from the Moon Tower Entrance waypoint (-677, 175). This boss can be spotted out in the open, and is usually located within the depths of the cliffs near its spawn location. You may require a flying Pal like Jetdragon to get to its location and glide down to start the fight. There is no secret lair to enter for this boss fight, so you can dive right in and get to it.
Alpha Knocklem Boss Fight Guide In Palworld
Below are all of the skills that it will use during the fight. Alpha Knocklem is a Ground type Pal, so you can expect several Ground type moves for this fight.

Alpha Knocklem Boss Fight: Best Gear & Consumables
If you have reached the later levels of the game, then any high-level gear will work with the Alpha Knocklem boss fight. At a basic level, you would at least require Pal Metal Armor, but at most you can get away unscathed with a Plasteel Amor. A Hyper Shield or Ultra Shield can be paired with your armor for added protection. As for weapons, take your handy Rocket Launcher if you have it crafted, or go for any gun like the Assault Rifle to deal some heavy attacks. If you prefer a melee fight, then go with the Sword.
When it comes to accessories, carry the Ring of Earth Resistance +2 so you can get additional immunity from Alpha Knocklem’s earth attacks. Also take the Ring of Mercy with you to help you capture Alpha Knocklem without killing it. Any healing consumables will work here, but you won’t require it if you are using high level Pals and weapons.
Alpha Knocklem Boss Fight: Best Pals
To counter Alpha Knocklem’s ground attacks, you require Grass type Pals to help you out. Some great choices are Verdash, Lyleen, and Warsect. Verdash offers the highest Attack stat for a Grass type Pal, but Lyleen and Warsect offer better and more versatile movesets. Also, it is best to level them up above level 50, since Alpha Knocklem is a level 55 boss.
How To Fight Alpha Knocklem In Palworld
Alpha Knocklem will not use any minions to help it in the fight, so you will be up against a very formidable foe. What makes Alpha Knocklem tougher to beat than other Alpha Pals is its high defense and long range attacks. It can get quite difficult to get up close to deal damage, but it’s not impossible. Use your Pals to try and distract Alpha Knocklem, then use your preferred weapon. There aren’t a lot of hiding spaces nearby, so you will be a target of Alpha Knocklem’s attacks frequently.
Dodging and staying out of reach are the only ways you can avoid Alpha Knocklem’s attacks. Try to keep an eye on your shield so it doesn’t wear out and leave you vulnerable. Whenever you can, use your weapon alongside your Pal to deal damage. A Rocket Launcher can quickly close the fight, but if you are using a gun, then it might take a bit longer. If you prefer to capture Alpha Knocklem, now would be a good time to wear your Ring of Mercy and get your Pal back from the fight. Deal the remainder damage to the Alpha Pal, and use any Pal Sphere that is Legendary Sphere and above.
When defeated or captured, Alpha Knocklem will drop the following rewards.
